Possibly called it Axel F in case it does really well so that the studio can make its Beverly Hills Cop 4. After BHC 3 failed at the box office they wouldn't want to jump on it with theater releases being what they are today.

Now let's take your $70 million and add all your marketing etc to it, which brings it to $100 million. Domestic Box Office rakes in only $40 million (the only number execs paid attention to in the mid-90's) and yes eventually once overseas comes in about $120 total. With a profit of $20 million. Far far below what BHC2 raked in. But if want to call it a supreme smash, have at it. The general consensus was, most people hated it, or were to one degree or another disappointed.
I couldn't make it through your video, you start and stop too much and it takes away from the entertainment of seeing someone's reaction. The best reaction channels save the commentary til the end and then rewind the clips they want to talk about.
