I love it! It's so encouraging. I'd love to know more about his story. More than that, I'd love to work with him. The older generation is so underestimated when they have so much wisdom and experience to offer. I was very inspired by his willingness to take risks and change direction in mid-life. In the late 2000s, my classmate won an award for a student film, his energetic girlfriend "forced" him to write a mediocre thriller script which she then submitted to writing competitions, won a minor award, used it to find an agent, who piqued the interest of a low-end Los Angeles producer - the film was shot with my friend directing and with well-known actors. Despite this, the film disappeared on video, we never pursued the connections and realizations made and, in my opinion, we squandered an opportunity.
Wow thank you so much for sharing that story. That's very powerful to read and hear. I truly appreciate your support though and taking a listen to this video!
Thanks for answering my question! And just so you know, I think you are more disciplined than you give yourself credit for. I think 3 important parts of life are Work, Play, and Rest; and while they might not happen in equal amounts of time, they do need to be balanced for a manageable life. Clearly, you have a passion for what you do, which is what drives you, but nobody's perfect, and having time to rest and relieve stress by doing something fun helps recharge people so that the next time they are working, they can go hard. So you might have a few days where you're not as productive as you wish you were, but the fact that you constantly try to improve and do better next time without giving up; that's discipline.
That's really great insight! I do agree with you and do see a lot of benefit in being able to work hard as well as play hard! Definitely working on that aspect but the journey has been full of so much learning and growth!
Hey Omar you're super awesome and im happy that you answered my question.... It would be great if you make another video its great getting to know you and you're an example of hard work pays off and never giving up..
