Loeb finished 6th overall, beating loads of four wheel drive "R5-spec" cars.
Delecour had to retire after stage 9 with gearbox issues.
I should have seen both 306's at 2 more stages during the weekend.
But at 1 stage I arrived to late due to traffic and difficulty finding a parking spot.
And another stage was cancelled because there were too many spectators.
So maybe I should return another time to see these cars again. :)
Overall it was a good weekend in the French Alps, seeing many cool cars.

Thank you for your work. When I close my eyes, this engine sound reminds me of the end of the 90s, when I was a fan of the 306 maxi. At the time, I listened in my car radio to the sound clips on cd.

Cancelled for too many spectators, is it group B level amount of spectators or what?

@@nekomi_ch It looked like that at some points. This was during the C 0 R 0 N A perios, which meant spectators were only allowed in certain areas of the stages. And at that 1 stage there were too many of them packed together.
At the time it was a very weird decision. Before the modern rallycars run the stages, there are historic cars which aren't as quick. But then it was OK for there to be that many spectators. Then when the modern cars were about to start they decided to cancel that stage, with the same amount of spectators and in the same safe spots around the stage.
It was very dissapointing.

back when I had my 206 1.1i, and I then found out about the 306 maxi, I soooo wanted to do myself a 206 maxi
6 speed sequential and revs to 11000rpm
thats wicked

L hybride gâche tout le meilleur pour moi c est l atmo à égalité pour tous la oui comme aux 24h il n' y a pas de concurrence entre lmp1 lmp2 c est inégal et ça gâche le plaisir d un vrai moteur atmo comme une année où j y avait était où il avait le virtuose V12 lambo aujourd'hui c est fade et courru d avance aucun intérêt

Lmp1 Toyota par exemple pas assez de concurrence entre tous ce qui serais beaucoup plus sport l hybride n'a pas d intérêt surtout pour une tel course que les 24h surtout dans ces deux catégories lmp1 et lmp2 dommage
