@@Susi092more or less what I think they’re onto is that it seems like they’ve put more emphasis on who’s in the film and where it’s shot rather than the story, how it was made, who made it, etc. personally, hearing the part at the beginning about the Brooklyn kids reacting to the transformers really doesn’t tell me anything about their characters other than they are black Brooklyn kids… who I’m guessing a lot of ppl have never met before so that doesn’t say anything about them and why we as the audience should care.
But why does it matter that they're "people of color" though? Why such a huge emphasis on that? What does the term "people of color" even mean, everyone is a person of color? Saying people of color just sounds like some kind of exclusionary language used for the sake of being inflammatory if you ask me. Just feels like they're using selective language to get a reaction to create artificial buzz. I doubt anything they're saying in this interview Is going to be important in the actual movie.
This movie is so good! It exceeded my expectations! You can tell that Steven was very passionate about this project and he wanted to make it the absolute best that it can be. I really enjoyed the talented cast, they really gave it their all and brought their characters to life. And I'm so glad that Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback were able to play Noah and Elena. This movie is exactly what I've always wanted in a Transformers movie. Heart, soul, action and a whole lot of "badassery". 👌🏾

Apparently someone who saw early test screenings said that the movie focuses more on the Transformers. And in the trailer there is a lot more transformers scenes than the humans. So I’m hoping it’s true that the transformers get the most screen time.

He directed 1-5, Travis Knight did Bumblebee which is now a reboot. This is a sequel to Bumblebee and has no connection to the Bay movies so he's no longer directing
