    Thanks for all the effort. It’s a rare treasure to have so many examples of how Japanese is used by & for native speakers. Looking forward to the full set!

    N3に合格するのにこの動画シリーズは本当に役に立つだよ。心からありがとうございます! After passing N5 and N4 I'm working my way through N3's Kanji (there are SO many!). This videos of yours are tremendously helpful to not forget the grammar and to learn new stuff. Many thanks from Argentina

    I guess one way we use "typical" can be reasonably similar to "gachi", as in "typical, he's always late". In both the sense of saying a tendency, as well as usually being used in the negative (in this usage of the word)

    大抵コメントをしませんけど、これ言えたいです。長い間、文法がなかなか分かりません。漢字と語彙が好きですが、覚えられる。でも、どんなに文法を学んでも、決して使えそうにありません。それから、このチャンネルを見つけました。N5のビデオを見て、すぐに全て学ぶ事は使って出来て気がしました。見て続けて、ところまで、今、日本語で日記をつける。ですので:これらビデオを作ってくれて、ありがとうございました。

    Fantastic video as always! Serious question: How does one get better in Grammar? I could raise my understanding of kanji/vocab to about N2 through immersion and flashcards but I still struggle with simpler grammar. I can read the words but I can't understand them. Am I missing something or do I just need to read more or specifically hammer in Grammar separately from kanji?

    Great video, I really love your grammar series, I think it's the most comprehensive guide out there. Can't wait for more!
    Also I have a question, is there a difference in the use of ごとに and おきに? I would really appreciate if you could clarify it a bit.

    • @hikari31415
      @hikari31415 Рік тому

      I hope you don't mind if I answer :)
      ごとに refers to the number of the interval *on which* the repetition occurs. So 2日ごとに refers to the repetition occurring on the second day. Like this: ●○●○●○●...
      おきに refers to the number of time-intervals (ex. days) *between* repetitions. So 2日おきに refers to two days passing *before* the next repeat. Like this: ●○○●○○●○○●...
      As you can see, 2日おきに would be the same as3日ごとに.

    I’ve watched this video maybe 5-6 times this week. Not sure why these grammar points have taken so long to sink into my head

    Could you do a translate guide for a game like Wind Waker. the dialoge is easy enough for children to understand and it is quick to beat, especially the HD version.

    Thank you for your hardworking this channel is amazing. You helped me greatly with your videos. I really liked the "I" pronoun video.
    How about a "you" pronoun one in the same style. It would be really interesting.
