Adding to the Crescent Staff, the npc that sends you to Thunder Bluff has a chain of 3 quests (I think?) before actually handing you the "Hamuul Runetotem"-quest, for those of you who might be confused why it isn't there.
@goatstop entertainer need to be paid or they cant entertain, most make so little why would you take it from them? Also i have addons downloaded i just dont use them for everything.
Speaking as a Paladin that still has it, Thrash Blade's extra swing totally works with Seals and Judgements as most of them proc on auto-attacks. ANd Thrash Blade's extra swing counts as an auto-attack.
Thrash Blade ranks third -> You will probably get this while you farm Blackstone Ring for your Pre Raid BiS. -> Blackstone Ring not on the list. Doesnt really matter though, the video is really interesting to watch :)
Thats how blizz should've developed gear. By giving it unique and interesting side effects. Like some interesting ability or being able to perform a unique attack.
My main is Levle 39 and is still using Gravestone Scepter. I also used Greater Magic Wand beforehand and the jump was just crazy. It's even better than Greater Mystic Wand.
You can /target Prince from the surface and get him if he's up. Don't believe me? Test it through the wall on one of the less common nagas, you will get a target on it. Swimming down and around looking is unnecessary. Got mine in the early days of the game at 5am PST one night when I couldn't sleep the whole night through, was thrilled!
9:44 Hey guys. I have never played WoW but thought about it. I am wondering something. Is it normally that easy to get items in WOW? I am use to dealing with 1 spawn a week mobs in Everquest and sometimes having to kill them 4 or 5 times to get the drop i want/need. Or clearing a spawn 30+ times to try to get a rare mob only to not get the drop i am after.
I played everquest from 99-02 and even played on the project 1999 blue server. Anyway, Classic WoW is fun and challenging without all the hassles of EQ
Yeah right you ever had the tidal charm... 48 hour spawn timer on an underwater mob that didnt even have a guaranteed chance to drop this... not to mention the the other competition you had to contend with... I highly doubt your caster was in the 0.0001 percentile of the playerbase to own it
I got the gravestone scepter very early with my warlock and was the more game changing item ever as i didnt use SB in my rotation anymore being like 200% mana efficient, i thing when i changed that wand, wands was just stats sticks on locks.
Crescent Staff: You are wrong about the quest, it starts in crossroads and requires the pool chain to be completed first. Also, no, Hunters get ZERO use out of this weapon and are much better off taking the 1-h sword with Agility on it. If your Hunter is in melee range for more than 1 swing, you are playing Hunter incorrectly.
The Whirlwind Axe out-performs the Ravager in dps - thus, making the Ravager only good for AoE situations. The next clear upgrade from the WW axe really comes from Uldaman's last boss, the Rockpounder mace.
#4 Paladin class quest (Alliance) 2h Mace is stronger than Crescent Staff and it even has more Intellect i think. You can obtain it at level 20 (though doing the quests for it you will probably reach 21)
Man, I remember my buddy farmed Herod with me he was a higher level warlock and got me the ravager on the third try. I got some other things but good times.
Escape - Interface Options - Raid Profiles - Top right corner "Use Raid-Style Party Frames". And then on the left click on "Display Class Colors". Cheers!
Just the first item. Besides, there aren't any particularly interesting weapons early on. The best you'd get would be the dungeon quest items, Crescent Staff and Staff of Westfall.
Every class who can wield a staff should get the Hydrocane in Gnomeregan and keep in their backpacks forever (unless you're a druid) - you never know when you need to hide at the bottom of a lake to avoid being spotted by gankers while you go AFK for a few minutes.
im new to this game, and i got the tidal charm, didn't see the value in it, or notice it was a trinket, and sold it. i thought it was vendor fodder. now i'm kicking myself. got it accidentally because i used to spend ages in arathi leveling and doing the quests. stuff to mine underwater too for my profession. :(
The Crescent Staff Alliance equivalent would be Staff of Westfall. As for wands, you'd have a lower dps wth the wand than the staff, because the wand doesn't get any damage bonuses from stats.
I guess the context "low level" just means not level 60 and not really what I consider as low level (< 15 ish). If the quest to get an item starts at level 45 ... then it's not really low level item.
Wands are not "busted" they are actually a big thing for priests and mages and there is not only a skill system for them but specific talents for them to improve results. This is like claiming a Bow is "busted" ... its actually CURRENT CONTENT (Retail) wands that are busted as they are well below being effective for anything.
I would not agree that the Ravager is that good. Why? Because only enviroment its good is in if you and farming dungeons. In the open world if you are a shaman/warrior/paladin. You don't want to be fighting more than 1 mob at a time if you going for level speed. And since you dont know when it procs its not like you can pull 2 mobs and know it will proc. And since it makes you stuck in place you can use the tactic of avoiding damage as a warrior/shaman by using hamstring/earthbind totem and only be in meelerange once your weaponswingtimer is ready.
@@michaelrogers4120 True but it seemed like he was making the video with easily obtainable items so that it would be more accessible for everyone, not just class specific items because that would be bait.
Actually, classic.wowhead.com/item=890/twisted-chanters-staff Is a much better item then Crescent Staff since it has a slower speed therefor affected by more abilities, worse stats though, and to boot, it has 0.10 more dps, also its hit values are much higher, which means that even if your ability does not account for slow speed, its just a bigger impact all the same. The only downside? Twisted Chanter Staff is a random world drop so its going to be costing you almost all your mount-reserved gold to get it, better to just keep leveling unless you wanna make a level 29 twink.

Crescent staff is the staff of westfall but for horde just so you know Guys the quest for alliance is called “Defias brotherhood”
SimpelGameKanaal SGK except the staff of westfall has 11 spirit and like 5 int or something like that and the crescent staff has 7 spirit/int/stam

I just acquired the crescent staff last night for my lvl 21 druid. I love that staff it was a huge upgrade
alliance side, seal of wrynn is a must have early game. lvl16 quest. the last fight will take help, but it is completely worth

Really sticky glue from a quest in sel jin village is so op for low level duels especially as a meele class, the net doesnt Even break on dmg
Ravaged actually lasted me through most of my 40’s as an enhanced shaman. Replaced with a BoE blue axe around level 50 I think
Was DW enhance not a thing in classic? I’m an alliance player so I’ve only played Shaman after BC.
To cancel the ravager proc you can easily just press the Esc key when the weapon procs.
Used Venomstrike all the way up to 40. I can't believe nobody talks about that bow's proc.
