It's no secret that I love old PC first person shooters, but recently producer, The Farm 51 remade of one the funnest games I have played and I was forced to ask myself one very important question, did Painkiller need to be remade? Surely the original is still fun as hell. The only reason the remake Painkiller would be to update and improve the graphics, but most remakes tend to change the source material and "improve" it for a broader audience. Can this titan of first person shooting survive in this modern shooter climate? Is it even the same game? Let's find out in my review of Painkiller Hell and Damnation.
