As a child of the '90s who grew up listening to this music in her early childhood before switching over to oldies, I think I am going back to the five boys that originally sang this, Nick, Brian, A.J., Howie, and Kevin, The Backstreet Boys themselves! Ths was a horrible version of my favorite Backstreet Boys song!I'm not a fan of the story of this musical, I like the original Romeo and Juliet better. Sorry to all you fans of this musical out there, but you can count me out of seeing this. (Runs back to The Backstreet Boys) 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Sorry, but you can't beat the OLC for me. Shakespeare isn't even trying to sound English. The other characters (except Anne) are "fictional" (in universe) so it doesn't really matter I mean technically theyd be French or Italian but 😄😄😄
@@williamclark1244 Yeah, I do really like Oliver Tompsett as Shakespeare with an English accent. I am just saying that I didn't mind Stark Sands not doing a British accent.
Why would anyone do musical with used music instead of original music? It's like Moulin Rouge. I couldn't stand it. No imagination or originality. Just a faux jukebox to string the masses along.
I cannot tell you how much I want an extended version of this. That style change at Anne’s “Am I your fire?” is SOOO good
Same!!
OMG YASSSSSSS
More covers need that.

I may be biased because I saw the broadway cast in Toronto but I really like Stark Sands as Shakespeare
You do know the Shakespeare was English and wrote in English. It was Early Modern English but...still English.
@@williamclark1244 Exactly.
