The segment commences with goosebumps, and concludes with smiles - and we get to see the 5’8” take a lot of hot laps at the Ehukai beach park in between.

Who’s cutting onions in here? That was so special to see. The rivalry between Andy & Kelly was one of the best is sports. I put it up there with Magic vs Bird & McEnroe vs Borg where it took a sport to the next level.

I scored an Eric Arakawa board in 1994 at a yard sale, a thick 7'8" sunset beach shape in pristine condition, light blue with yellow rails. Had magic days riding that board out at Sunset, Laniakea, and Devil's Rock on Moke's side, and paddling out to the whales over there. Strong board, never broke.
