It's not about always showing the glamour of life. Showing the struggles, the simplest way of living that bring happiness. I vote for you to get an award for these types of vlogs.
Being far away from civilization creates deep reflections. One of those is being at peace with oneself, sometimes empty mind. They are in paradise compared to the homeless of big cities like new York, LA or London etc..
This vlog deserves reaching a million views more. I came from Northern Mindanao & living in Manila for a long time now & when I saw this vlog it's very touching & surprising that reminds me the 80's of Mindanao. Touch with the vlog & Kudos to KD.
That is why local and international tourist alike should no haggle much when buying 'pasalubongs' from ordinary folks. A single project could take them days to finish. Kumander Daot's UA-cam vids is becoming a Discovery standard documentary.
Since my early days of travel, I have learnt to ask how long something takes to make, as a simple guideline to judge if the value is fair. I have so much respect for art and crafts 🙂
Wow! Beautiful drone shots. Perfect music. I love it. You had a spiritual experience. At one with nature. And the people. I can imagine you felt very grounded. A wonderful experience. Wow, just wow. Sometimes, it's better just to leave, this type of community as they are, as much as we want to bring them all kinds of advance technologies, they are sometimes better off, to what they have adapt in way of living. But don't get me wrong, we should still give them a chance to move forward, roads, education are few of the very basic that they should be provided. I love all your videos . I'm happy that you love those people. Before I came here in the US, I was working as a public school teacher in Marilog District. We took habal2x from the highway going to the school. It's 5 km away. The road was very risky. During rainy days, we need to walk because the road was very muddy. The children were very respectful. I want to go back there one day.

Being connected to the land, spirit and people it’s so deep that you just have to stop and find your way. Watching your video gives me peace as well. Thank you for sharing. ❤️
People struggle in many different ways. These people don’t t sweat the small stuff . True happiness can only be found when you’re content and learn to accept with what you have .
Much admiration for your vlogs showing native life at its most elemental. Your reflections of what you experience are invaluable and teaches the rest of us that one doesn’t need all that much to be content. More power to you, Kumander Daot.
Incredible!!! I understand completely what you went through in the midst of that tribal place. This is deep , Kumander and I really enjoyed it!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍👍
Absolutely no need to explain anything. You are a very genuine person. It shows in your actions and words. If you feel something, as you did, it will be conveyed to us, your audience. We may not feel exactly what you feel, but we do share the experience with you. For that, I thank you. You have so many facets to your personality and we feel honoured that you share them with us. I wouldn't want it any other way.
Kumander yes i also dont believe initially with those elementals but an experience will give you a different perception. And yes you need to follow their advise as they know it very well..God has created us along with other creatures. Be safe. A tip from elders, always bring a small piece of copper anywhere you go in those rural areas and a sincere prayer to start and end the day!
Psalm, Psalms 78:18-19, 23-24, 25-26, 27-28 18 they deliberately challenged God by demanding food to their hearts' content. 19 They insulted God by saying, 'Can God make a banquet in the desert? 23 Even so he gave orders to the skies above, he opened the sluice-gates of heaven; 24 he rained down manna to feed them, he gave them the wheat of heaven; 25 mere mortals ate the bread of the Mighty, he sent them as much food as they could want. 26 He roused an east wind in the heavens, despatched a south wind by his strength; 27 he rained down meat on them like dust, birds thick as sand on the seashore, 28 tumbling into the middle of his camp, all around his dwelling-place.
Giving to those in need is important. You don't have to sacrifice your own resources or time when you give from the heart, you are giving comes from your own pockets. An individual who cares about the well-being of others in a more informal and personal way. Giving your time, especially with personal interaction with the receiver, is a completely different experience. In my opinion, when people decide to donate, they admit that it is our responsibility as individuals to support one another. Even though you have an excellent sense of humour, it is also accompanied by a lot of emotion and compassion. It speaks volumes..
Great video - thank you for sharing the spiritual side of things and your kind-hearted ways toward the various people and tribes you come across on your journeys.
