The two of them was obsessed with her but the red flag one was yan lin because he entered her palace every day they thought she seduced him but in the fact she never did anything just hide under the covers , the xie Wei of past life wasn’t honest with him self that he have feeling toward Ning until he knew that before she committed suicide she asked an employee as I remember to bring zhang she cherry blossom as farewell gift from her , at first xie Wei was calm then he raged in anger and take the flowers from him and crush it because of his jealousy as he saw she give her love and life for zhang zhe ( on other hand Xie Wei was all alone ) if you remember in the cave from one of episodes he asked her to die with him he really mean it as he wanted someone to be with him but ning push him to forgot about his thoughts and marry him in the end as they had beautiful family (one of beautiful part of the novel when zhang zhe saw xie Wei walk with his two children he said to him self that xie wei is alive in this world just because ning as alive too he becomes greedy for life because of her )( don’t be surprised as I said zhang zhe think like this because in the novel zhang zhe also remember his past life like her that’s why they let go of each other peacefully)
