That was an excellent video--very well done. It is almost exactly the way I do it (although I cast my bullets, and I use the die set from X-Ring Services), except that I use a mixture of lamb's tallow and beeswax for the grease cookie. Seeing yours, however, I think I will try switching to pure beeswax because sometimes I think that seating the bullet squashes my softer lube out into the body of the cartridge. I thank you for that idea. It was very smart to mark your dies, I cannot imagine why that didn't occur to me--I always reset them from scratch with each new session. If I may make one suggestion, however, you completely ignored the process for setting the dies in the first place. In y opinion, this is actually the hardest part of the reloading process, and yet almost no reloading videos address it (although the Lee YT channel has good videos about it for generic dies). For someone new, that would be a big help--I know I struggled with it a lot, and ruined some of my precious X-Ring brass until I understood it correctly. Now you need to make the period-correct packaging! Are you familiar with the British Muzzleloaders YT page? I suspect so since I think we both learned this from much the same source, but if not, I cannot recommend it highly enough; there is an incredible wealth of information there both about loading and historical shooting of the Martini Henry. Again, well done, an excellent video that gave me a couple of good ideas.

It's not just a reload, it's a British reload (Extra manners included)! Totally subscribing to watch more 30 min long vids on guns.

I load mine pretty much exactly like yours. I’ve read that the MH is supposed to shoot high anywhere up to 300 yds, but I’m wondering if you’ve found that to be the case.

@Juicy-America I find that my M-H shoots on exactly where I aim at 200yrds, with the rear-sight ladder set at the default 100yrd setting. I've shot at 300yrds before, and I've found that the 200yrd rear-sight setting works fine for elevation. Hope this helps!
