I too am a great admirer of Heifetz, and when I only knew the 1965 and 1970 recordings that he made when he was 64 and 69, and a bit past it, I too thought Chloe eclipses him here. But I discovered his 1945 recording, where he is on much better form. There I reckon he at least holds his own! ua-cam.com/video/RjHgISGGeAk/v-deo.html
I listen to the heifetz version of this piece often and this performance gave me chills!! some things I prefer about heifetz's interpretation (he gave a bit more space in a couple places) but there were some things I honestly preferred about hers, and overall it just sounded so.... mature and controlled but expressive
@@elizabethmallett4084 I think Chloe outdoes Heifetz in other cases too. He is the gold standard for several works but he is no Mozartian, and even her Zhuhai Mozart #4 is closer to the ideal than is his 1947 recording with Beecham and the RPO, in which the frequent glissandi are horrible and his own cadenzas fall far short of Joachim's. (Of course Chloe's more recent Mozart #2 is in a different league entirely.)
I love this piece and Chloe plays it so fantastically and well, I can't find the words to describe what I feel, but I sense a lot of maturity from her playing, which is amazing, especially given how young she is I really hope to get to listen to her live performance one day 🥺
Best violin playing I have heard in years!
:) :) :)
This piece makes me feel like I'm the genius anime character
Exactly 😁
FRRR
Gershwin is smiling from above.
And Heifetz
Clohe can play pieces from any musical repertoire always reaching the highest levels of interpretation👏
Outstanding. Chloe played Gershwin with the same seriousness and professionalism she plays Vivaldi and Mozart. It doesn't get better than this.
She really goes for it in the final section, Heifetz is actually outclassed by this performance in my view (and I'm a big Heifetz fan).

You’re joking right?

Unbelievable. Best performance of this piece. And I am a Heifetz and Perlman fan!
Simply perfect, a miracle of nature, and the Chausson Poeme ..... what could I say, incredible so much maturity. Congratulations Chloe.
Playing the violin, Chloe is as beautiful and elegant as ever.
I just love listening to this young lady perform!
Her tone is so full! Love the colors in this piece

Hi!!!!
Does anyone know where I can get the sheet music for this song?
Internet.
Chloe hasn't had this much fun since bopping her way through Wieniawski's Scherzo Tarantelle seven years ago.

Please do Monti's Czardas. Also some Caprices from paganini would be cool since you know them.
Chloe is already way beyond those skill showcasing pieces. People here are cheering for her astonishing growth on other aspects
If she can play like that what am I doing with my life
1:45
Is that high B? wow
COVID19も終息したみたいだし、早く日本に来てください!
Great Job. That guy at the piano has to take that MASK OFFFFFFFF Please !
The sophisticated mallet technically receive because keyboarding pathogenetically object to a second-hand peen. fresh, tasteless cuban
I hope Singapore will once again allow wind instruments being played in public when I v e r m e c t i n is used widely for protection.
