cat stayed on till late 2002 she presented with james redmond from hollyoaks, tess daly, h and claire from steps. when cat left it was tess, brian, shavaugh and des, then smtv went to smtv gold (as it was axed by itv) thats when stephen mulhern took over with tess and des and brian
At about 4:40, they are at the couch in front of the fountain. They even have umbrellas and they're dancing and stuff. It really strucks me as the starting theme song in FRIENDS. Is this a reference and if so, which way? Btw, they remind me anyway of Joey and Chandler, Ant being Joe and Dec being Chan, British versions :DD Sorry for possible grammar mistakes :D
It's literally just a parody of FRIENDS. They even have kind of the same melody, but if you listen to the lyrics, you'll hear this: "Noone told you comedy could ever be this lame: Every week's a different show yet somehow all the same..." So yeah, it was making fun of FRIENDS but became very popular as it's own thing.^^
Jack Evans I believe Brian from Big Brother replaced them initially and Tess Daly at some point plus many others. Stephen didn't take over til' the very end, at which point it got cancelled and he carried on with 'Ministry of Mayhem' with Holly Willoughby. But Ant and Dec on this show were absolute gold.... nothing ever came close.
