what an amazing series you have made! very entertaining! just FYI when a few of the closed roads you have encountered, like the one at 19 minutes in this video is an automatic toll station and another one earlier in this series uses a licence plate scanner to pay for the toll, it wont read your motorcycle plate because it reads from the front and that is why the gate is not opening for you, and it also wont videotape you ;)
Thanks very much! I was worried at the time that it would ba a washout of a series as I didn't really get to do anything that I had planned! But I stayed positive and made a different trip out of it! Good to know about the toll gates. Maybe bext time!

Looking forward to the next section of the ACT while thinking about marrying the air condition... Hope to see your next section of the TET Norway! I really like that series.

I would still wholeheartedly recommend a 1090 to anyone. Loved it and exciting these videos just makes me miss it all over again! The Aprilia is of course even better still (for me), but the 1090 is close second. I think it is the perfect storm of the KTM big adventurers. No unnecessary gadgetry to go wrong. An understrained and relaxed motor. Simple suspension and huge comfort. Almost perfect!
Hi Andy, hope you are well? Another great video of you and your lovely 1090. You must have inspired me as after selling the GSA, I bought an enduro bike, and have just bought a 1090R as my road/light off-road bike. I am a fan of the LC8 V-twin engine, and this doesn't disappoint. Scott. 👍
A very unexpected Thursday night treat Andy. At least when you have to reverse a route everything is the other way around as it were... The late KTM still looking good. Suffering post tour blues so just what I needed, roll on part whatever it is ..

Great video and actually laughed out loud at "sit down wee" 😂 I noticed your throttle lock. Would you recommend? I have a 2011 Street Triple and suffer with buzzy/numb hands when covering longer distances so would be nice to shake it off like Taylor Swift every now and then
We all need the psychological boost that a sit down wee can provide from time to time! I highly recommend the ATLAS Throttlelock. It performed flawlessly and made the motorway sections feel a lot Swifter (see what i did there!? 😜)
The huts are considerably cheaper than hotels and a fair bit cheaper than guesthouses/BnB‘s. The simple ones were as little as 30 €, the fancy ones up to 90 €.
@@AndyManCam yeah, I went on a tour of the north of England with Bruce and Simon (chicken strips) was Ace, the bike coughed up an engine error, went over the Humber bridge and hardknock pass (Phew! What a road) videos to follow soon
@@AndyManCamfrom what my regular mechanic has said, “it’s possible that it may need new spark plugs and or air filter” as the bike labours at low engine speeds or idle.
It was more what i did to remove the 25 ponies to begin with. In rain mode the power is reduced to 100hp. So in sport mode, the bike was back at full power.
