  • Footage from Bank Holiday Monday at the Blaenavon Steam Railway. The railway was running their Class 31, D5627/31203 alongside newly liveried Hunslet built 1873 'Jessie' wearing the livery it would've worn when it was outshopped from Hunslet Works in Leeds 87 years ago. Also, running was Hudswell Clarke 1857 working a range of duties. The purpose of the event was to recreate a
'coal train' running between passenger services to add to the interest - showing just how the railway would have operated many years ago. Footage taken at various locations along the line. Thanks for watching.

Good to watch. Plenty of atmospheric shots, especially those through the rain. They might have missed a trick with no brake van rides though? There was quite a bit of that on the GWSR that weekend; some of it is in my movie: ua-cam.com/video/er-6E8LV980/v-deo.html
