I always knew that the Bomb Girl Arc will be adapt into a movie. This is even better than a season 2 announcement. The Bomb Girl Arc movie will be more than just an anime action flick with explosions, it’s also going to be a love story between Denji and Reze which ends in tragedy. I do wonder if this movie will be release in the summer of 2024 or Valentine’s Day of 2025. I also wonder if there are going to be extended scenes from the manga, like Reze’s childhood in Russia and the abuse she had to go through. I also hope we get a glimpse of Denji’s childhood as his dad was beating him senselessly in a drunk hysteria telling him that Denji will never find love and die just like his mother did. When this movie comes out, I am going to buy tickets for the thing and watch it. And as for Crunchyroll, I’ll download the movie whenever I travel.
Hell's Paradise Season 1 was OK, usual caveats not withstanding ("the manga is better", and so on). That being said, it was treated as a 2nd tier project and it shows, not because it's bad, far from it, but because it's just serviceable. It needed more budget and more time for the staff to truly catapult it to the next level, and it's clear it didn't get that. To me it feels like a premium microwave dish, as good as it is it will never stop being microwave food, and it's a shame because the manga is a good story with great art and action sequences that have been left, for the most part, by the wayside. Hopefully MAPPA can have a better work schedule for the 2nd Season but I highly doubt it.
Pretty sure this is a coincidence, also hybrids are borderline immortal so they aren't gone but that doesn't mean they have to come back to the story, Reze's arc and development is finished.

I'm guessing they're making a teaser with this quality and will up it in future animators. Just like season 1. The first trailer was..."different" compared to the other trailers.
Mappa picking up shows is not the problem. Mappa picking up ACTION heavy shows is the problem. Action animation is the most time consuming. Jjk and csm having nearly the same staff is also adding to this problem.

Sakamoto Days should have it's anime adaptation asap. I don't understand why did they prefer to animate those other series instead. And what's going on with opm season 3?
never understood the whole “overworked animators working on products back to back etc” like what job have u heard of that isnt cranking out their products year round lmao
don't argue with those people. Of course the schedules and working conditions are terrible but people are forgetting that most low- and middle-wage jobs in the world have the same conditions. Especially if you working in the social area or in other industries with not enough people for the high demand.
can't wait for the chainsaw man movie. the criticism that chainsaw man should be more colorful is so funny to me like bro its a black and white manga. what color are you talking about?? the blood and guts pop the rest of the scenes look great. the show is cinematic as hell perhaps too much at some points when the story interrupts the action with flashbacks but the story is fucking bonkers and i love it and love what they do. fully funding the movie is ballsy but they fully funded season 1. makes me wonder if mappa will fully fund other shows like hells paradise season 2 or jujutsu kaisen season 3? it sounds pretty risky? idk we're in for a great time with more chainsaw man
the biggest L Mappa has taken with chainsaw man is not making it 24 eps and including the Reze arc in season 1, they only scratched the surface and while i LOVE Chainsaw man and i love all of Tatsuki Fugimoto's work, i believe the movie isnt going to get the Hype it deserves. The only reason i love Chainsaw Man so much is because i read the manga almost a year after watching season 1, when i watched it the first time i didnt understand the hype around it tbh but then i found out that season 1 ended right before the story picks up and everything starts snowballing (no pun intended) into this amazing story that I'm now ecstatic to read every week/ 2 weeks. I even forced my roommate to watch season 1 and he's an anime only and he thought it was mid too. it really sucks because I think Chainsaw man has so much potential to be as big as JJK in the anime community but I really only see Manga readers talking about it. but to be fair, Mappa did do the same thing with JJK so you never know I'm still super excited to see the movie when it comes out
Really looking forward to the chainsaw man movie, I already know the animation will be peak. WIT is also my favorite studio, so I think they’ll do One Piece justice.
I mean I'm a chainsaw man guy I liked it before I knew it was overly popular its the anime that got me back into anime so I'm hyped not that anyone cares but like the movie they are going to make is money most likely 10x profit maybe even more I just hope that they don't overwork their workers I just hope they balance quality and the animators mental health
I feel like One Piece definitely needs a remake from the start, the amount of bullshit filler implemented into otherwise canon episodes is awful, like remember that time on reverse mountain where nami fucking killed a guy? the average viewer probably thinks that actually happened, even if they skip full filler
I dont get the brainrot of people who think the content of this pv teaser is the "final animation". Read the damn manga, they just colored in panels and added 2 frames of motion. They spent more time on this movie than on part 1 (part 1 was done entirely in 9 months and its been way more than that for the Reze arc which dosent even have a trailer yet), its gonna look the same if not better
Yeah that was driving me nuts. I get that anime only fans may not realize they’re the panels. At the same time come on you can see those panels when google Reze
Didn't jjk 0 get produced in like three or six months when most animated movies take closer to two years? The csm movie will probably come out looking fine, but... That crush and terrible working condition is gonna come out sooner or later.
The remake is for people who dont want to deal with 1000+ episodes right after they start the anime. Its for people who can't watch one piece because of its old gen jokes.. dude.. its an anime that started in the 90s.. hunter x hunter got remade in 2011 after airing in the 90s.. idk why youre being this critical about it.
Ngl I'm not super happy with a movie. I'm gonna watch it and I'm sure I'll enjoy it, but I feel like the best thing for a Part 1 adaptation would be just doing the whole thing in a 25 or 26 episodes anime even if it meant waiting more time before the anime started airing. 12 episodes for the first season means they had to cut just before the point where most people were excited see, a lot of people who experienced Chainsaw Man for the first time left with a feeling that it didn't live up to the hype and I think it would be a really different feeling if we got the entire thing in one season.
The One Piece seems laborious from the get go. As someone who has not read or watched the source material I can’t say much more than this. However the team the best in remaking the story.
I really had no issues with hell's paradise s1 and didn't see anything jarring with the animation, what's all the hate about, what about it actually looks bad?
To me it's not like it got issues, It's just that it was pushed to the side by other animes that were out at the time. Also personaly I felt that the animation coming from Mappa wasn't that hight quality ish compared to bigger IP's of the studio.
Big old spoiler alert for any anime onlys (Although I don’t know why you’re watching Sufferents if you’re anime only) --------- I was really surprised to se that they turned the Bomb Girl arc into a movie. I really expected Bomb Girl and International Assassins to be turned into a second season, maybe along with the Gun devil arc. Then I thought they’d make Control into a final movie to end the series / part 1 But overall, I think this was a very interesting decision and i’m ready to see what’s gonna happen and am overall excited!
Of whats been said, bomb devil being a movie feels odd to me but ultimately a nonissue, the one piece remake feels needed as the one we have sucks with the pacing and such, hells paradise anime sucked but the mangas good, dandadan i plan tk read first i have the first 5 volumes, mission yozakura-wooooaaaaah yea baby, elusive samurai i struggle to read so not excited for an anime, dont like sakamoto so dont want an anime for that personally either, and kaiju i find to be mid, but the direction for the anime looks good but i dont plan on watching it
I'm... not sure how to feel about the Reze trailer, honestly. Obviously it's just promotional material, and we can't confidently extrapolate the style of this to the style of the actual movie, but it left me feeling a little underwhelmed. I think part of that is because it felt rather 1:1 with the manga. That's not necessarily bad, but it does make me worry that they're going to play it safe with their adaptation. In my opinion, a good adaptation *HAS* to do something to differentiate itself from the source material, otherwise what's the point in adapting it (I'm speaking from a purely artistic perspective - there's obviously a huge financial incentive in animating CSM regardless of style or approach)? That's something I really appreciated about season 1 - they made good use of the virtual camera to create shots that are simply impossible to have in a manga, by virtue of the fact that manga is very limited in how dynamic any single panel can be. CSM is a really experimental story from a very experimental author, so there's a part of me that can't help but be disappointed if the adaptation doesn't follow in those footsteps I was also a little concerned by how little impact the PV had on me. When I compare it to the PV for season 1, it felt like night and day. S1's PV was mostly just a bunch of manga panels that had been edited in cool and fun ways, but it felt chaotic and flamboyant in a way that really suits the IP. This wasn't that. It was much more melancholy and understated, and while that's not entirely inappropriate for CSM, I don't think that's the best way to sell part 1. I hope this is just me being overly paranoid, but it makes me worried about the direction they're going to take it. Also, (maybe a hot take) the animation felt a little... lacking? There were a lot of still shots, and the movement felt rather limited. I hope that's just because they were trying to focus on the emotional side of the story for the PV. There are a lot of moments coming up that could be really elevated if given the sakuga treatment. But the cynical part of me wonders if this might be due to MAPPA's production issues bleeding into the project. Hopefully the employees are given the time to be healthy and do what they do best, but so far the track record for this studio (and the industry at large, let's be honest) isn''t good Despite that rather cynical take, I'm still excited for this! I absolutely love this arc of the manga, and I can't wait for a wider audience to experience it for the first time. And even though I expressed doubts about the subdued tone of the PV, the quieter character moments are genuinely some of my favorite parts of CSM, so it'd be awesome to see them highlighted Also, as much as I enjoyed the style of season 1, I *do* think changing it going forward is 100% the correct move. From what I've heard, the more detailed artwork that Nakayama pushed for made unfortunately compounded the production problems they were already having. I think a simpler style will be easier and faster to animate, and will hopefully ease the burden on the team, even if only a little. And as long as they make it look good, I won't be disappointed about the shift
I will never understand people who weren't absolutely in love with S1 CSM. It boggles my mind. Still, MAPPA clearly seems to be biting off more than they can chew and something like a movie for the Reze arc really needs to be done delicately (whatever that word means as it relates to the series) and with a lot of love. I'd hate to see something sub-par, especially if this movie is all we're getting for Reze. The Gun Devil arc is on the line here and I reaaaally wanna see that animated.
OP remake why yousay? 1. cashing in on this new era 2. more importantly my theory is the current anime is way too close and will catch the manga by the start of the summer (disaster) even if they are adapting less than a chapter per episode and idk if they know what to do or this remake might be the solution but hat'll depend when it starts
Every bone in my body hopes and prays we stick to the melancholic undertones, realist pacing, and cinematic art style of Season 1. I feel it was one of the few anime adaptations that surpassed the source material, and this is from a guy who loves and defends just about all of Fujimoto’s works.
I think the animation we got on the teaser is not the final product itself. Its just a teaser, not a trailer.
Crazy how they announce Reze movie right after confirming the weapons devils are alive and well. Reze in part 2?
Pretty sure this is a coincidence, also hybrids are borderline immortal so they aren't gone but that doesn't mean they have to come back to the story, Reze's arc and development is finished.
Solution: I will buy as many tickets as are required to make the film profitable.
I hope the movie is really long. I don’t want them to leave anything out
I did some calculation. If they kept same pace it would be 120mins. I am hoping for 160mins tho.
Mappa pls chill TF out and let them take a break
Does your job give you breaks? No. They need consistent work, but the long workdays is what sucks.
@@bugsnax4145 exactly, its the schedule that matters and since theres no production committee on CSM theres a strong chance it'll have a healthier production schedule.
Its been really annoying seeing people mindlessly comment about breaks and cutting back on projects without considering the business side and the fact that a lot of animators will lose their jobs if they do exactly that and downsize
Yup exactly. I'm glad some people actually see the bigger picture.
yeah sorry i was overexaggerating when i meant break i meant reduced workload@@bugsnax4145
Hell's paradise is underrated though. I mean I can't say it was outright insanely amazing, there were definitely couple of things I didn't like towards the end of S1, but overall it's pretty good compared to 90% of the shows that get released nowadays.
Hype for this man. I was really worried about Chainsaw Man's anime adaption after MAPPA's initial comments last year.
10:31 you joke, but I actually loved your thoughts on jump festa. would love to hear your thoughts on other ongoing as they wrap arcs or other news
I would love for you to do a video on a popular indie game called The Coffin of Andy and Leyley, I can't explain it but, it feels like something you would enjoy talking about and diving into the character's truma
CSM purists be like: "Yipee, the anime is now going to be more colorful!!"
The CSM anime: *moving on to segments of Part 1 where the series starts becoming darker and less colorful tonally*
CSM purists: "Wait, the anime is now going to be more colorful?"
I don’t think it’s going to be that much more colorful. I mean these imagines are just the teaser, not what’s going to be in the movie.
Someone has never seen colorful dark series like Madoka Magica.
@@awsomeman350 I'm more talking about the change in director. I've always said that the tone of CSM Season 1 fits like a glove for the rest of the series ahead of where Season 1 ended, especially Part 2's tone. And now when the purists finally got their chance for a more colorful CSM anime, it no longer fits with the story, lol. Just the irony of it all.
@@runbaa9285 Absolutely agree, fandom moan and harass for a different art style/colour, which "represents" what the manga should be; and alright if that's how you feel it should be then gg. However, if you go around being a lunatic, a person who is so unhealthy infatuated and deluded, to people like the director for CSM season 1 who put such craft out there....only for it to scrutinized heavily. Not criticises. In a childish way that is so uncivilised, which makes me think, have they no shame?
@@crusiver8453Madoka Magica itself also stops looking dark though while they go into their dark scenes.
People think Mappa are the only company in Japan doing this when its been known the Japanese culture consists of long work hours. Its the main reason why the Japanese population is decreasing. Good luck chaging a whole culture
It's going to have to change or they'll have a societal collapse eventually. The fact that there is growing awareness of it makes change inevitable.
@@explosiver that's why people always say its fun to visit japan but living there is a whole other story. Hopefully they can fix the issue before it becomes worse than what it is.
nice video bro
Reze's Puffs
Man we had so many great announcements lately I feel swamped lul but the Reze arc getting a movie fits really well since it's so short and S2 will have plenty of room for the rest of part 1 I think so that's awesome. But we still didn't get an announcement for Sakamoto Days anime like come on plz give it to us.
S2 won't be able to finish Part 1 tbh. There's still 3 arcs. It'll probably take 2 more seasons
@@unendingvoid yea especially if they kept the 12 episodes pace
@@joobcena They should do 24 imo
I didnt mind the the animation style in the teaser of the movie, since its closer to tatsuki fujimoto's artstyle, or the actual manga itself. But the problem is whether or not the anime-only fans will like it
Having a movie mid show sets a pace so you can have an entire season and it doesn't end pre maturely like how jjk season 2 just ended 😢
2024 probably has a lot of stuff packed up for us, like Godzilla X Kong The New Empire.
I'm guessing they're making a teaser with this quality and will up it in future animators. Just like season 1. The first trailer was..."different" compared to the other trailers.
8:35 Sakamoto Days by Sunghoo Park studio would be generational🫡🙏🏼
Throughout the overworked animators and MAPPA picking up every show, I alone am the skeptical one.
Mappa picking up shows is not the problem. Mappa picking up ACTION heavy shows is the problem. Action animation is the most time consuming. Jjk and csm having nearly the same staff is also adding to this problem.
I did watch hells paradise season 1 and I really like it a lot it was very good I do know it was a niche anime upon release and still is but I am really excited for season 2 the manga def starts to ramp up right after the of season 1 so I do look foward to watching it animated
To be honest I don’t have much to say. After watching this I came back with more questions then answers lmao! But I’m so excited for all of these anime’s and especially the Reze Bomb Girl arc movie!!!!!!
Never mind all that lovey-dovey shit, I wanna know if we'll see the Gun-Devil in this movie.
No
the only chainsawman movie, that hasn’t released yet, of an arc that i didnt know was its own arc*
It's been some time. Ex-Dressrosa talking about One Piece. But yeah, both the One Piece and everything MAPPA's doing is daunting, to say the least.
Love your Videos Bro
These are literally coloured manga panels
No, they're completely redrawn and animated.
8:39 Sakamoto Days coming in January 2025:)
Sakamoto Days should have it's anime adaptation asap. I don't understand why did they prefer to animate those other series instead. And what's going on with opm season 3?
I'm really concerned their gonna end up censoring the movie to appeal to a wider demographic
The clips we got in the trailer is just the manga colored in and animated. I double checked this.
Chapter 42 when denji is jumping in the pool.
Where is Sakamoto Days indeed?!
never understood the whole “overworked animators working on products back to back etc” like what job have u heard of that isnt cranking out their products year round lmao
don't argue with those people. Of course the schedules and working conditions are terrible but people are forgetting that most low- and middle-wage jobs in the world have the same conditions. Especially if you working in the social area or in other industries with not enough people for the high demand.
can't wait for the chainsaw man movie. the criticism that chainsaw man should be more colorful is so funny to me like bro its a black and white manga. what color are you talking about?? the blood and guts pop the rest of the scenes look great. the show is cinematic as hell perhaps too much at some points when the story interrupts the action with flashbacks but the story is fucking bonkers and i love it and love what they do. fully funding the movie is ballsy but they fully funded season 1. makes me wonder if mappa will fully fund other shows like hells paradise season 2 or jujutsu kaisen season 3? it sounds pretty risky? idk
we're in for a great time with more chainsaw man
the biggest L Mappa has taken with chainsaw man is not making it 24 eps and including the Reze arc in season 1, they only scratched the surface and while i LOVE Chainsaw man and i love all of Tatsuki Fugimoto's work, i believe the movie isnt going to get the Hype it deserves. I even forced my roommate to watch season 1 and he's an anime only and he thought it was mid too. it really sucks because I think Chainsaw man has so much potential to be as big as JJK in the anime community but I really only see Manga readers talking about it. but to be fair, Mappa did do the same thing with JJK so you never know I'm still super excited to see the movie when it comes out
Looks good to me I aint waiting until lighting strikes me for more seaons of awesome manga
I don't even care if the animation is bad just be happy that were getting something
bad way of thinking
In which volume Reze arc starts?
Really looking forward to the chainsaw man movie, I already know the animation will be peak. WIT is also my favorite studio, so I think they’ll do One Piece justice.
Of course it gonna be the most insane chainsaw man movie
I mean it literally only have one movie
I mean I'm a chainsaw man guy I liked it before I knew it was overly popular its the anime that got me back into anime so I'm hyped not that anyone cares but like the movie they are going to make is money most likely 10x profit maybe even more I just hope that they don't overwork their workers I just hope they balance quality and the animators mental health
Hey can you bring back that video of you explaining that Denji and Power are not siblings?? Pleeeeaaaaaseee 🙏
rizz-e is back
I feel like One Piece definitely needs a remake from the start, the amount of bullshit filler implemented into otherwise canon episodes is awful, like remember that time on reverse mountain where nami fucking killed a guy? the average viewer probably thinks that actually happened, even if they skip full filler
At the same time come on you can see those panels when google Reze
bro i alone will make them profit with the ticket sales lmao
Didn't jjk 0 get produced in like three or six months when most animated movies take closer to two years? The csm movie will probably come out looking fine, but... That crush and terrible working condition is gonna come out sooner or later.
The remake is for people who dont want to deal with 1000+ episodes right after they start the anime. Its for people who can't watch one piece because of its old gen jokes.. dude.. its an anime that started in the 90s.. hunter x hunter got remade in 2011 after airing in the 90s.. idk why youre being this critical about it.
IT’S TIMEEEE!!!!!!!
I think we would get this around 1 or 2 years . Correct me if I'm wrong
Did they release date?
No way season 2 will finish part 1
YEAAAAAA BUDDYYY!!! LIGHTWEIGHT BABYYY!!!!
However the team the best in remaking the story.
the most insane csm movie ah yes the only movie
What's the 2nd most insane chainsaw man movie since this one is "THE MOST INSANE" one? Lmao
Animation looks fine by me
looks more like the manga which i like
I really had no issues with hell's paradise s1 and didn't see anything jarring with the animation, what's all the hate about, what about it actually looks bad?
To me it's not like it got issues, It's just that it was pushed to the side by other animes that were out at the time. Also personaly I felt that the animation coming from Mappa wasn't that hight quality ish compared to bigger IP's of the studio.
Pretty sure the animation for the teaser is literally just based on the manga. It would be weird if there was just a random art style change
And then we have Bleach going for a 4part anime series 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
true kinography
Attack on titan wasn’t a movie the final part was realsed in two long episodes
The most insane bc its first movie
Big old spoiler alert for any anime onlys (Although I don’t know why you’re watching Sufferents if you’re anime only)
---------
I was really surprised to se that they turned the Bomb Girl arc into a movie. I really expected Bomb Girl and International Assassins to be turned into a second season, maybe along with the Gun devil arc. Then I thought they’d make Control into a final movie to end the series / part 1
But overall, I think this was a very interesting decision and i’m ready to see what’s gonna happen and am overall excited!
Of whats been said, bomb devil being a movie feels odd to me but ultimately a nonissue, the one piece remake feels needed as the one we have sucks with the pacing and such, hells paradise anime sucked but the mangas good, dandadan i plan tk read first i have the first 5 volumes, mission yozakura-wooooaaaaah yea baby, elusive samurai i struggle to read so not excited for an anime, dont like sakamoto so dont want an anime for that personally either, and kaiju i find to be mid, but the direction for the anime looks good but i dont plan on watching it
Dad uploaded ❤
I honestly like the art direction, i think it goes better with CSM
Reze is best girl
I dont care how overworked these animators are give me my chainsaw man
I'm... not sure how to feel about the Reze trailer, honestly. CSM is a really experimental story from a very experimental author, so there's a part of me that can't help but be disappointed if the adaptation doesn't follow in those footsteps
I was also a little concerned by how little impact the PV had on me. Hopefully the employees are given the time to be healthy and do what they do best, but so far the track record for this studio (and the industry at large, let's be honest) isn''t good
Despite that rather cynical take, I'm still excited for this! I absolutely love this arc of the manga, and I can't wait for a wider audience to experience it for the first time. And even though I expressed doubts about the subdued tone of the PV, the quieter character moments are genuinely some of my favorite parts of CSM, so it'd be awesome to see them highlighted
Also, as much as I enjoyed the style of season 1, I *do* think changing it going forward is 100% the correct move.
My fear is that it might be more anime than actual kino it was in season 1.
I really hope they keep same director..

I won’t b watching the one piece remake don’t see the point
i suggest watching re:zero before going on with chainsaw man so nothing can make u sad or other emotions... (if u read the manga nvm)
OP remake why yousay?
1. cashing in on this new era
2. more importantly my theory is the current anime is way too close and will catch the manga by the start of the summer (disaster) even if they are adapting less than a chapter per episode and idk if they know what to do or this remake might be the solution but hat'll depend when it starts
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Every bone in my body hopes and prays we stick to the melancholic undertones, realist pacing, and cinematic art style of Season 1. I feel it was one of the few anime adaptations that surpassed the source material, and this is from a guy who loves and defends just about all of Fujimoto’s works.
