'The Battle Belongs to the Lord'. Shabbat Family Service 08/02/2025

Today Rabbi Lawrence will share a message from this week’s Parashah Beshalach titled “The Battle Belongs to the Lord.” We will explore God's deliverance, the reality of spiritual warfare, and the balance between action and prayer. Just as Moses interceded while Joshua fought, we are called to stand firm in faith, engage in spiritual battle, and trust that the battle belongs to the Lord.
A key verse is: “For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.” (2 Corinthians 10:3-4, ESV)
