There are 3 elements that are why they aren't successful . 1. Some of the writers can't really related to the people who they'er trying to connect to. 2. The black people that write some of these story can't related either becasue most of them weren't raise by the black community so they can't related at all. 3.The writer either a good writer but didn't do there research.

They also like to tell the black writer that their black experience won’t connect with the audience, therefore let a white person do it! (This happens A LOT in the creative field and honestly the None-BLK Audacity is beyond me.)

It seems to me that the hero just happens to be black or just make a good story no matter the race is a cop out to white supremacy. Kal-el's story is not generic, mainstream, or normal because he looks like a white male. His is a story of how white male immigrants can more adapt easily into American and earth society. Contrast that story with martian manhunter or nightcrawler of the xmen. Those characters as well as black characters will never be as accepted by white audiences. Black creators and fans need to accept that fact and create/support stories indended for smaller but no less relevant audience of color. Martha Washington, Excellence, Tuskegee Heirs, Infinitum, The Antagonists, Akolyte, Steamfunk and many others or black facing stories that address the Black/African condition. The "mainstream" companies focus on white condition and their audiences for the most part don't care about non white stories. The proof is in the sales figures.

FAX! EVERYBODY, ESPECIALLY US NEED TO MAKE OUR OWN AUDIENCE THAT WILL SUPPORT OUR OWN STORIES AND BRING THEM TO MAINSTREAM.

Spilled. They will never support us, we need to support our own and just stop supporting them. Also, race has to do with EVERYTHING. So you cannot write a black story and not address race at least ONCE or TWICE.

Black Characters don't sell because people don't want them outside of the black community and even then , the black community grew up with non-black characters and don't want to see black characters. And to the people who say just write a good story , that ish don't work if it did it would do well.

Same way with cartoons and regular books. If they are not in a sports jersey, or have have braids,or gold teeth or jewelry, then they are usually the scary type or just clown around too much. Bern tired of seeing that, video games as well, if not a boxer then either a thug or some kind of clown with jewelry or a jersey on.

That’s precisely my point, we have far more range and People utilize in a lot of media and I just want them to write better stories first before they decide to introduced on agenda which I think is important to talk about but also a good story should be the primary moving force

@@3rdEyeMangekyoRinnegan Telling a good story is something unfortunately they don’t use in black stories. I said I think it’s important we address these issues but let’s be honest even amongst our own people, stories get stale because they focus ONLY on the issues and not so much the story. We need both.

@@AltFactuals Hollywood pushes that crap out, it isn't created by us. They created this narrow view of black people then say it's what we want to see when in reality it Caucasians who go to see these Buffoonish images of black ppl (Which is why they shoved Kevin hart in every other movie). Imagine if you own a restaurant, and only made cheese pizza then claim it's the only thing ppl wanted dispite ppl in the neighborhood going to other restaurants.
That's what Hollywood is doing to us with these trash movies. No one ever talks about the tons of screenplays written by black men, and women that end up in the trash simply because the scripts didn't fit their narrative of how they want to portray us.

Thank goodness I found your channel. It’s impossible finding POC comic channels without any incel bullshit from the pale skin people. The truth of the matter is black people don’t read their own work so how do we expect anyone else to respect the craft. I know some black creators who write comics of just white characters… so we already know what their mindset is. I can’t name any black story outside of Spawn that is top tier writing and the writer isn’t even black. No matter the culture it’s about the story but our culture IS our story (oppression is only one piece of our story, but we are all multi dynamic)
