    Somewhere there was once a falcon whose feather went all the way to the moon. That bird flew higher than any other.

      Doesn’t it just blow your mind there was a dude up there doing an experiment like that?? So casual like but on another world, crazy

    • @Wourghk
      @Wourghk 3 роки тому +17

      It's a unique experiment, believe it or not.
      There's nowhere on earth you can do it and get the same results outside of a vacuum chamber. The feather would tumble and arrive late due to air resistance.

    The very best ASMR channel on UA-cam. This gentleman puts so much effort into each video and I keep thinking that each new video is his best yet but each one is better than the last. Once addicted to sleeping tablets and the Diazepam group of drugs as a result of lifelong insomnia, I now need no medication to get to sleep having discovered the French Whisperer 2 years ago. Each new video lasts me until the next new one as I am usually asleep after 20 minutes and have to keep using the same video until I have listened to it all. The Napoleon 3 hour blockbuster is my go to if I am not asleep after 20 minutes, I am asleep after about 10 minutes. I cannot thank you enough for your dedicated work for your listeners. God bless.

Donc j'ai trouvé vos chaînes en Spotfy et UA-cam et je dois vous dire que le résultat est meilleur que prévu!

    I've been thinking if a) the universe is far larger than the observable universe b) there is a center, then the center would be incredibly dense. As you travelled towards the center active galactic nuclei, quasars and radio burst galaxies would become more common with the availability of more matter.

    Thanks for the content man, always helps me relax when I'm stressed and so educational and chill!
    Question; Are there any theories about the Galaxy we exist in actually being our 'pocket Universe' and that what we believe to be our universe is actually the multiverse we talk about in theories? Which would then make all other galaxies we can perceive with certain technologies we have, alternate universes. We just can't travel to them because we don't have that science or current level of understanding yet to the nature of all things, or the science to achieve it.
    According to google:
    The multiverse is a hypothetical group of multiple universes. Together, these universes comprise everything that exists: the entirety of space, time, matter, energy, information, and the physical laws and constants that describe them.
    Our current universe that we exist in to our knowledge does more or less on a level encompass everything that exists right? We just struggle to perceive most of it because we're always growing and learning and then gradually we learn and understand more about the nature of the universe.
    So if humanity is always learning new things they didn't know about the laws and constants of 'Our Universe' , basically everything the above description encompasses, could it not be the same thing as us already existing in the multiverse, surround by pocket universes or what we call 'Galaxies' .
    Perhaps its more a misconception of words and hubris? Science is always progressing and human beings do not have a lot of the same perceptions to understand the missing pieces to the scientific model that makes up our understanding of space, time, matter, energy, information, and the physical laws and constants that describe them. The Mantis Shrimps eye sight comes to mind and the developments in technologies we've invented to perceive previously invisible things that our human senses cant tell us, like Sonar or GPS.
    If you got this far, thank you! Just a mad thought, haha!

    The problem with cosmology is that it's not really a "science", not in the traditional sense of a hard science. It's more like economics, in that you can make predictions and look at what appears to be the case but you can't create experiments. We know for a fact that there is quite a bit missing at galactic scales, hence the introduction of "God gaps" with dark matter and dark energy. They are literally placeholders for the bits that don't work with our theories. And again, relativity certainly works very, very well at certain scales but we also know for a fact it is "wrong". We know this because it makes predictions that many observations by many teams at different institutions contradict. E.g, the rotational speed of stars at spiral galactic edges. That dark matter and energy get a free pass is pretty embarrassing really... And not very "scientific". Obviously I'm nowhere near the only person who talks about all this...
