The McLaren driver was pretty humble and just a good guy.
It's a one of a kind purpose built time attack versus a production car that's street legal. I don't think anyone who knows about cars was surprised by the outcome.

they are not really that close, he is just that fast, so it goes from 60 to 100 in maybe a second so that's a gear change. but yes they are not like road car ratio.

@@Bakedshots Drifting isn't exactly the fastest way of taking a corner. Around a proper racetrack the Senna will smoke the Hoonicorn.

On a prepped surface, that car would destroy itself. It would probably grenade the rear diff, snap one of the drive shafts, or snap some axles. Even in one of the other Hoonicorn VS videos Ken said on a prepped track that the car would probably break. Still, I agree with you. I'd at least love to see them try and see how fast it is.

Man...coming back to watch these episodes makes me wish they brought out the hoonicorn again. But this time with a serious drag setup... longer gears, some meaty drag radials and took on some real competition like the Audi rs3... that would be epic. Really enjoyed this series.

(I forget the number but the Hoonicorn has a pretty low top speed. ALL the cars he races against would eventually beat him in a longer race, because he’s pretty much topping out at the finish line.)

The amount of money thrown into that Mustang, which includes parts, labor, engineering, etc, is probably pretty insane. It's also not built for comfort or drivability, at all. The P1 is a driver's car that's built for enjoyment daily, not short bursts of insanity like in the Hoonicorn.

The speed Ken’s car is capable of is godly. Like that thing is insane.
Actually... it's purely acceleration, not (top) speed. In other words, it's quick but not fast. Do the same thing over 1/2 mile or 1 mile and the Senna will pass the Hoonigan no trouble. Ken was already at top gear because Hoonicorn is build for insane acceleration... Senna still had a couple of gears left. Senna top speeds is around 210mph... my guess is that the Hoonicorn tops out at a maximum of 160... and I'm possibly being quite generous.
nah buddy it's pretty goddamn slow. It's quick though.
The hoonicorn was built for DRIFTING but ended up having excellent acceleration for 1/4 miles. That being said it can easily be tuned for longer gears in between shifts.

@@ItachiUchiha-ng4qb for top speed you need to change the drive train, differentials... not only increase gears, total different construction. You can easyly see how fast he need to change the gears, they are very short... like a truck with reduce gears on.
