New ability--> Disaster Sense. Absol's new ability. User has a 50% chance to dodge the following type of moves: OHKO Moves, Blizzard, Thunder, Earthquake, Surf, Hurricane, and Eruption.
that makes OHKO moves usless because if they're both the same level OHKO moves have a 30% hit rate, thus making the chance of hitting -20% which makes it always miss
@@stratastar Yes. It's called Damp I think. But my idea gives Absol a chance to dodge even more moves. Natural Disasters. Like Earthquake and Volcanic Eruptions I.E Eruption, the fire type move.
I came up with an Ice type mirror pokemon with the ability "Shatter" where if it is defeated, it leaves Spikes on the field. It triggers similar to Aftermath.
You could even add a unique spike like effect instead of regular spikes, making it ice type damage and decreasing evasiveness to really emulate the 7 years bad luck concept. My one note there would be that maybe you should make it trigger via attack damage only, so there is a way to avoid it for players who see it coming, thus nerfing it a little bit.
Maybe it can do more damage to dragon grass etc for it being super effective this is helpful for the ppl with a full legendary team like zekrom and kyurem
What about a signature ability for the ultra beast? Xurcitree: Electro drain- if the opponent is a electric type it regains 1/4 of its health each turn. Buzzwole: Flexing spirit- if the Pokémon with this ability is under half health it’s defense is raised by one stage every time. Nihilego: Poison stones- all rock type moves this Pokémon has have a 40% chance of badly poisoning the opponent and they also have a chance to set up stealth rock or poison spikes. Stakataka: Castle formation- if any of this Pokémons stats are decreased it’s defense and special defense raise sharply Blacepholon: Evil spirit- all of this Pokémon’s dark type moves have a 20% chance to lower any stat Guzzlers: Demonic destroyer- each turn guzzlord has a 10% chance to instantly ko a Pokémon
New Ability: Tidiness Effect: On Switch In, the user cleans up any “traps” on the field (Spikes, Stealth Rocks, Sticky Web, etc.) for both the opponent’s side and user’s. Use commonly by: Minchinno Line, etc.
For the survivor ability, I would suggest that it raises the defense and special defense each turn IF the user is the last Pokémon alive since that fits the “survivor” aspect
Just make it activate when the pokemon takes damage from an attack, so they have to "survive" the attack. Skilled players can just use status moves and ailments to take it down without proccing the boost. Make it a hidden ability so inexperienced players don't have to worry about it.
I had a few ideas myself Rotten - Turns Grass type moves into Poison type moves Domestic - A Pokemon with this ability can use manmade items like Potions and ethers as held items Recoil - All moves are more powerful but deal recoil damage equal to 1/5 of the damage done to the target. Freezed Waters - Water type moves become Ice type Irate - Depending on the move, Attack or Special Attack gets a stat boost if the user’s move misses. Restraint - Moves with recoil damage no longer deal said recoil damage, but at the cost of reduced power.
Primal Dialga: Chrono Continuum: Summons Trick Room when sent into battle, trick room only disappears when this Pokemon is switched out or knocked out Primal Palkia: Cosmic Control: Summons Gravity when sent into battle, gravity only disappears when this Pokemon is switched out or knocked out
The idea of “lovesick” is fantastic if we change it so... if the OPPONENT becomes infatuated with the USER, it causes toxic on that opponent. Since it won’t work on same or no gender Pokémon it limits how far it can be abused.
Funny thing about that- one of the moves I came up with is in a similar spirit. The move in question, Love Toxin, is basically Attract and a poisoning move rolled into one, with the caveat that if one side of the combo doesn't go through for whatever reason, the other won't either (i.e. won't infatuate a Poison or Steel type, won't poison a genderless Pokemon, etc.). This move would be given to Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Volbeat, Illumise and Luvdisc.
I thought about it and an alternative for this could be an ability called cuteness which makes makes it so if the user gets a status condition the opponent's damage is lowered
@@PreferablyPurple it would probably be something along the lines of Galarian Aritcunos signature move, where they aren't actually encased in ice, just metaphorically frozen
Cold Heart sounds like something to give to an Ice/Ghost Wendigo Pokemon, and have a move that freezes itself, resulting in being immune to all other statuses.
That sounds really interesting, I've always wanted a Pokemon based off a Wendigo or Skinwalker so I like it. Probably too dark of an origin for Pokemon but yk it'd be cool.
@@switchblade6 Hypno literally abducts children seemingly just for fun. Every single gardevoir out there is a walking doomsday device capable of destroying the world whenever they feel like it. Haunter saliva is highly toxic and causes convulsions and then death(unless you're Ash. Ash is immortal, as we all know.) Just looking at Mimikyu's true form inflicts you with a fatal curse or disease. Phantum is the soul of a child(probably killed by a Hypno) possessing a rotten stump. Sandygast possesses people and forces them to add more sand to it, then evolves into Pallosand and drags them into the sand to consume their souls. It is implied during a side quest in USUM that there are superintelligent ditto that have not only mastered the ability to transform based on memory but have also learned human speech, and that have taken the place of real humans bodysnatcher style. Don't even get me started on mega evolutions, for a transformation born from the bond between people and pokemon, they sure went out of their way to try and make people feel guilty for using it(Tyranitar's back f*cking splits open. Gengar will even attack its trainer. Gyarados quite literally loses its mind, with all brain functions except those needed to destroy anything and everything shutting down. Those aren't even the worst ones.) I'm sick and tired of the notion that pokemon is a purely lighthearted game with no dark aspects whatsoever. It's always had a dark side to it, gamefreak just usually keeps it hidden in the dex entries because it's a kids game and gamefreak has an incredibly low opinion of kids.
Ttar blessed us with another video. Edit:btw I got a ability idea. Swiftly: every move made by the opponent that doesn’t bypass accuracy has a extra 10% chance to miss. Put this on a Pokémon who has like 60 hp and 15 defenses.
New ability ideas: Status Adaption- If the user has a status ailment, it becomes the same type as the status ailment. If poisoned- becomes poison type If burned- becomes fire type If paralyzed- becomes electric type If frozen- becomes ice type Multiplying Hits- The user's contact moves can hit 1-5 times in a turn. Item boost- If the user has an item, it will boost the effect of the item. (All items will only be boosted by 2x) Buffed Armor- The one hit Ko moves of the opponent has no effect at the user.
Vampire: All bite moves have a drain effect, all draining moves are stronger Edit: Soooooo there are some people in the replies saying that this ability is in Pokemon Uranium. Now, i havent played uranium, so i figured "ok, maybe i accidentally did something similar to uranium?" The ability you guys are thinking of is blood lust, which drains 1/6th of all damage done. This is not that ability. I thought it was obvious immediately after looking, but apparently not.
That sounds a little too overpowered maybe just increase the drain power of draining moves like leech life and increase the health you get from leech seed or smth
As a competitive battler, some Abilities I would love to see include: Provoke: The user taunts the opponent upon entering battle Mountaineer: The user is immune to Rock moves upon switching in (Includes Stealth Rock) Psych Out: The user psyches out the opponent upon switching in, lowering their Special Attack Nemesis: The user copies the opponents stat boosts upon switching in (Psych Up) Atmospheric Presence (Or a buffed Air Lock/Cloud Nine): The user locks the atmosphere around it, preventing the effects of weather or moves that change air around it. (Moves like Defog or Tailwind would fail) Counter-Clock: Upon switching in, the user summons Trick Room Wonderous Phenomenon: Upon switch in, the user activates Wonder Room Magic Stage: Upon switch in, the user activates Magic Room Brawlout: The user pressures the opponent into brawling with it, raising their attacking stats while trapping them and preventing Switch-Moves from letting the opponent switch. Garbage Compactor: The user takes any traps laid on the field and compacts them upon switch in, raising the users Defenses as it clears any hazards laid on the field. Superstitious: The user is wary of things affecting the battlefield, preventing them from affecting the user. Bloodsucker: Draining attacks get a 50% power boost while also healing the user 50% more, but also have a chance to miss. (So a move like Leech Life would go from 80 BP, 100% accuracy, and 50% Recovery, to 120 BP, 80% accuracy, and 75% Recovery) Buff Heatproof to prevent Scald Burns and Flame Body Scout: If the user senses a super effective attack from the opponent, it will hit the opponent and switch out. (50 BP typeless, only works once per turn so you can't pair Scouters for infinite damage)
True, but I don't think it would be a good fit because increasing the power to an already weak move is going to do much. The whole point of trapping moves is to prevent the opponent from switching not damage.
Ability ideas Intoxicate-When the user applies a status affect to an opponent, the opponent will become confused. Focus Up-When the user misses an attack, the next attack will always hit if the opponent is on the field. Flame Eater-The user heals while burned Meteorologist-All weather lasts two more turns. Stat Keeper-The user keeps all stat changes when they switch out. Lullaby-The user has a 20 percent chance to put the opponent to sleep when the user uses a sound based move.
Loose Cannon: Every move that the user performs hits everything on the field for 1.3 times the damage Bodyguard: if the pokemon's ally has lower health, the pokemon with this ability will take the hit instead. Well Aware: This pokemon is immune to 2 turn moves (future sight dig etc) even if power herb is used
@@briancastone8741 Follow me is a move, bodyguard is an ability. The bodyguard mon can still use a move while having the bodyguard effect such as helping hand, quash, tailwind, or whatever else.
I feel like a cool ability would for a cool electric type would be (Overload- while the pokemon is at full health its electric type attacks are super effective against all types)
Speed force:increases damage output base on speed and can even be boosted by set up moves. Multiplyers.speed base stat 70- 99 a 1.3 times boost,100-129 a 1.6 times boost,130-159 a 1.9 times boost,160-189 a 2.0 times boost,190-209 a 2.2 times boost,210-239 a 2.4 times boost and finally 240-255 a 3.0 times boost and any thing lower than 70 base speed will result in a damage output decrease.69-40 a -1.3 times boost and then 39-1 will result in a -2.0 times boost.
Paralysis monster Ability: Right before the pokemon wakes up, they deal double the damage against the opponent for 3 turns. It seems the user is fighting for their life while in this state. I put monster instead of demon since I don't think GF would allow the word demon in their games
@@pikafanfan9405 I think what Gemini means is that lets say if you are sleeping for 5 turns the paralysis would only last 3 turns. So that means that the ability only lasts for three turns.
The role of Fiery Terrain is already taken by Harsh Sunlight. Weather and Terrain are already basically the same thing outside of a few quirks like not being able to have more than one at a time, moves like Steel Roller, etc. They're too similar to each other to make sense (being able to have Harsh Sunlight AND Fiery Terrain at the same time would be absurdly broken).
A less OP version of survivor: (Armor Up: The user’s defenses increase if it is not attacked in the turn.) But make it so it doesn’t work if it uses protect. This means that it basically gets boosted if the enemies uses a stat boosting move or protect, or they switch out. Example: The enemie dragonite uses a dragon dance while you attack it with an iron head, the ability then activates at the end of the turn.
Crumble: The user's Defenses decrease by one when hit below half max HP, but recoil damages its attacker instead. (This applies for Multi-hit, already recoiling and indirect damaging moves, too).
Ability “no homo” makes the user immune to fairy type moves and raises attack when a Pokémon of the same gender uses attract on a Pokémon with this ability.
Light House: The user’s accuracy is drastically increased and the evasiveness drastically decreased. Ambush: For the first turn, the user’s evasiveness and accuracy are drastically increased.
Personally, I think the best and most balanced way to introduce "three type Pokemon" is with abilities like Thick Fat or Steelworker... They don't LITERALLY add a new typing, but it introduces aspects of it. The simplest would be an ability that gives you a resistance and stab bonus for a specific type, but doesn't go all out with every single type matchup or anything. Abilities like Dry Skin are a good start, giving you an immunity to water but a weakness to fire, etc.
ttar mentioning darkrai and accuracy instantly made me think of that horrifying boss battle spamming double team in dark crater in pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of sky, nostalgia can be scary lmao
Lovesick: Opponents you attract become poisoned and vice-versa. Rewiring: When taking a hit, activate Electric Terrain. Nauseating: While active, poisoned Pokemon take doubled poison damage. Down Swinging: When the user faints by another Pokemon's attack, deals a 60 power fighting type strike at whoever took it down.
please more of these. i love for your theorycraft videos. just the right amount of realistic mixed with hype from someone around my age with my pov on pokemon. been here since we were kids man keep it up
New Ability - Godly Persuasion: All voice attacks have a 10% chance of KOing the target. (Inspired by Talk-no-Jutsu) Big Bang: When the user faints all the remaining Pokémon in the party go back to full health and all status ailments are cured, however the user cannot be revived. Unholy Blessing - All Dark and Ghost type moves have priority True Warrior - Every time the user increases a stat, one of the opponent’s stats increases to “even the playing field” Hell Fire - All fire moves are effective against every type Overlord - All Pokémon on the field have a 15% chance of flinching just by the user’s presence Unyielding - The user has a 10% chance of resisting fainting by sheer vital spirit Stampede - Moves that hit the entire field do double damage King’s Presence - All Pokémon are grounded and flying type moves are unusable, however super effective moves do slightly more damage. Fight or Flight - Every time the user flinches, either it’s attack or speed increases Undisputed - Every time an opponent raises its stat, the user will raise that same stat by an extra point to out do the opponent Demon Deal - If the user’s ally‘s primary typing is the Dark or Ghost type, either the user’s Attack or Special Attack rises Angel Deal - If the user’s ally’s primary typing is the Fairy or Flying type, either the user’s Defence or Special Defence rises
@@toumabyakuya Yeah most of those are only meant for legendary Pokémon, and if you think about it King’s Presence isn’t that much of a threat if you have a Pokémon who simply has a super effective move
Shower cap would assumedly make your fire type moves not get cut in half, moves like morning sun not have a weakened effect or lowered accuracy, and give all of your Pokémon the effect of the utility umbrella item that negates the extra damage of water moves in the rain, and maybe also lower the accuracy of thunder and whirlwind back down
@@past6480 How about Anomalous Existence, or something, I dunno. Something that references a black hole like Event Horizon could also work (Y'know 'cos the gravitational force is supposed to mess with time and what not)

This could be given to volcorona, butterfree, venemoth, zygarde, or any pokemon with a decent boosting move like Quiver Dance or Coil.

Works once per battle per move Resourceful: A certain effect takes place based on what the user is holding - Any Consumable Berry -> Berry can be used a second time if consumed - Any Plate -> Gains a 1/2 resistance to that plate's type - Any Incense -> Gains STAB from any move of that type regardless of users type (Does not stack with users type/s) - Any Poke Ball -> When player uses a Poke Ball and it fails, user immediately throws held Poke Ball at opponent - Anything Else -> All moves base power increase by 10% and adds 2 extra Max PP for every move
Cold heart sounds like a really cool ability, especially if it was paired with a Pokémon with self-freezing potential, if only hail actually boosted ice types...
Combat Surge: When the user enters the battle, it summon Combat terrain Effect: If Combat Terrain is active, all grounded pokemon can only use attacking move.
I have an idea for an ability Masochist: The Pokemon gets increase in defense and special defense when gets hurt from bind or tail/tentacle/vine related moves. Breaking point: The Pokemon has triple the chance of getting critical hits if the opponent flinched the turn before. Heatseeker Any special attacks will guaranteed to hit if the opponent is a fire-type, or had the fire typing added to it. This ability will deactivate if the opponent loses its fire type
I could update masochist Masochist: The Pokemon gets increase in defense and special defense by 1 stage when gets hurt from bind or tail/tentacle/vine related moves. The boosts jump to 2 stages if the target's ability is Sadistic Sadistic: Adds 30+ power of bind or tail/tentacle/vine/whip related moves such as fire lash or power whip
Gelatin: Physical moves have no effect against the Pokemon Vampiric: HP stealing moves restore 50% more HP Hot Lightning: All damaging Electric type moves get a 10% chance to burn the target Sharp Blades: Slashing/cutting moves do double damage Wind Shield: Projectile-based moves, like Rock Throw and Bullet Seed, are thrown back at the attacker Charged: The Pokemon’s SpAtk increases by 1 stage each turn until it uses a special move, where it then reduces back to +0 Dragon Venom: All damaging Dragon-type moves gain a 10% chance to badly poison the foe Freeze: The Pokemon gains the Ice type in hail Plasma Body: Direct contact moves cause damage to the attacker based on their weakness to the Electric type Flightless: The Pokemon loses its weaknesses, resistances and immunities granted by the Flying type I’ve made a lot of Fakemon and these are some of my ideas.
This is an ability for one of my fan made Pokémon and Araquanid Surface tension: the uses tightens the surface molecules of the water creating a hard surface that causes moves that make contact do recoil damage.
Next video idea : new status conditions New conditions idea : 1. Fear ----> Makes the Pokemon feels too scared to move, what this condition does is lowering the Pokemon attack stat and 25% chances of being too scared to moves this condition last for 3-6 turns. Moves idea : Max ghost move, Spook out, Roar, and Darkest Lariat. Healing item/moves : Holy water(item), calm mind 2. Bleeding ----> Makes the game goes from rating E to 13+ (lmao). Makes the Pokemon bleeding with a slashing/slicing attack, what this condition does is if the opponent has this condition it will lose it's 1/16 HP every turn (and here is the fun thing), if the Pokemon get hit by Fire or poison moves while bleeding, it will take 10% more damage meanwhile grass, water, and fairy does 10% less damage. Moves idea : all clawing, slashing, slicing and sword moves and pointy nails (not damaging but inflicted bleeding) Healing item/move : bandage, leaf cover(move) , aqua ring
The ability Flashlight to me should actually function like Flash but constant. So upon entering battle you decrease your opponents accuracy by 1 stage and when a new opponent switches in they also get an accuracy drop. Or it can be similar to No Guard, since you're so bright and making everything visible, you're eliminating your enemies' potential to hide yet at the same time you're so bright that you basically give away your own position. And as overlord effect it is similar to Illuminate but only during the night and in fogs
Inner will: The power of friendship trope from every shounen series. I guess it would boost every stat the user has from either having a high friendship level or from the whole party to play into that trope of the power of friendship boosting the Main character.
Opportunist: Upon receiving a stat boost, the user receives another random stat boost of the same increase. For example, Swords Dance, sharply boosts attack, then Opportunist kicks in and you have also sharply increased your speed. So it isn't broken, the same applies to stat decreases.
@@zaperator4449 eh it could be, but if it gets a stat drop another stat also drops to make it fairer as i mentioned. and ofc would be on a weaker mon, probably dark type.
I got an idea for a legendary/mythical Pokémon, Nobinu, the forest fire Pokémon Grass/Fire type. Looks like a dog made of fire, covered in wood armor, with the ability Nature's Fury, which increases the power of fire and grass type moves and healing moves. Signature moves: 1) haven't come up with a name for it yet, but it's basically the same as Charizard's G-max move 2)Forests Rebirth. Fully heals all Pokémon in play, and creates the sunny weather condition.
Talking about the terrain abilities, it’s always bugged me that there’s not a water one because all the tupus have the ability to summon a terrain based on their primary type, electric, grass and psychic, but tapu fini has Misty terrain and not water
*Primal Regigigas* _Continental Power_ All Punch moves (i.e. Drain Punch, Fire Punch) now have 100 base power but it's speed is halfed. *Mega Regice* _Icicle_ When on the field with Regirock or Registeel, it gets a +2 boost to Sp.D. and Sp.Atk. *Mega Regirock* _Igneous_ When on the field with Regice or Registeel, it gets a +2 boost to Def and Atk *Mega Registeel* _Tungsten_ When on the field with Regirock or Registeel, it gets a +2 boost to Sp.D. and Def. ----- *Steel Body* The Pokemon takes half as much damage from Fighting and Normal type attacks. *Overwhelming Presence* Reverses any ability that would lower stats to target the Pokemon that had the ability. *Quick Dash* The Pokemon's priority moves almost always go first. (Except in some situations like feint attack and protect) *Sight See* The Pokemon deals a little damage (5-10%) through substitutes, protects, etc. *One Eye Opened* Sleep lasts half as long. *Redirection* If the Pokemon with this is targeted for an attack by an ally pokemon, redirect it towards a random pokemon that's not itself (including the other ally) at 1.25x its base power. *Shadow Snatch* Switch Items with the opposing Pokemon on switch in. *Mental Overload* This Pokemon's Sp.Atk cannot be lowered.
Blackout: Turns Electric moves into Dark moves Breakthrough: If the user Pokémon is confused, and it manages to hit the target, it’s attack will be a critical hit Furious: moves will always crit if the user has a status condition Built Different💀: Moves the target resists will become moves the target is weak to Gone Hollow:(R.I.P) Unkillable without a status condition
I've actually been coming up with my own Pokemon concepts, but so far, I've only decided on five Abilities: Mean Streak- Increases damage dealt by the user to Pokemon with a status condition (poison, paralysis, burn, sleep or freeze) by 20%. Perky- Whenever another Pokemon has one or more of its stats raised (except by another Pokemon's Perky), this Pokemon's Speed is raised by 1 stage. Photosynthesis- Heals the user by 1/16 of their max HP each round during harsh sunlight or extremely harsh sunlight. (In other words, a sun counterpart to Rain Dish and Ice Body.) Quarantine- Prevents self and ally Pokemon from becoming poisoned (unless the poisoner has Corrosion and isn't doing so using Toxic Spikes) and blocks the poison-related effects of Venoshock and Venom Drench (but not Hex). Notably does not heal poison (unlike Pastel Veil). Wet Fur- This Pokemon's Speed is raised by 1 stage whenever they would be hit by a Water-type move that would be affected by Water Absorb, whenever rain or Water Sport is activated, or when this Pokemon comes out when rain or Water Sport is active.
Divided Hit: One-hit moves hit twice but with half power Example: Instead of a 90 power Flamethrower/Thunderbolt/Ice Beam, the move becomes a 2 hit attack with 45 power, with the perk that each individual attack still has the same chance of having a secondary effect as the original. It would seem like a really pointless ability in normal play but in competitive it could help break substitutes, disguise and have higher chances to cause secondary effects
More new abilities: Mutation: The user receives +1 or -1 stat change in a random stat, at the end of each turn Amplify: Increases the power of your allies sound-based moves by 1.5x Geoforce: Turns Normal type moves into Ground types moves Malicious: Turns Normal type moves into Dark type moves Acidic/Acidity: Turns Normal type moves into Poison type moves Vegetate: Turns Normal type moves into Grass type moves Aquafina: Turns Normal type moves into Water type moves Sweeper: Removes the Terrain when the user enters into battle Jealousy: Copies the targets shat changes at the end of each turn Jester: Dark types' immune to Prankster is ignored while the user is in battle. Also bypasses Queenly Majesty Sandy Spirit: Increases the power of Ground types moves used by the user and it's allies by 2x (So Steely Spirit for Ground types) Isolated: In double battles, the user doesn't take damage from any Spread moves (either from the opponents or it's allies) Exorcist: Removes Ghost type immunities while the user is in battle Tarōẏāla Style: Increases the power of slicing and cutting moves by 1.3x
That ability would be too good for doubles. Same if an ability did that with Trick Room. An opponent would have to use a prankster ‘mon to set tailwind just to attempt to outspeed, while the user can double attack immediately. If anything, we should get an ability that ends any tailwind or trick room when sent into battle.
Ability name idea: "Siren" Discription: "User can use attract on any pokemon regardless of gender, infatuated pokemon lose 1/8th of their max health as damage at the end of each turn".
new ability: fire version of dry skin, cold skin the user is immune to fire type attacks (which heal them and rise speed) and if the user is under sunny day or Desolate Land and is burned (yes you can mix both) they ill heal from the sunlight and the burn and their speed will double but any cold ice type attacks will do double the damage and being frozen or under hail will hurt the user
That's pretty cool that you're doing this. As a Fakemon Creator, I know for a fact that lots of people can come up with a really interesting ideas. I wonder if you could ever tackle a Fakemon video next time
Divorce: If an infatuated pokemon gets hit with a super effective move, it snaps out of the infatuation. Mighty Sacrifice: The user sacrifices itself to revive one of the party members to full health.
Maybe change the first one to broken heart, immunity to infatuation, and change mighty sacrifice so it is clear how it works. Maybe like perish song it starts a countdown until death, but instead, it is a countdown to revival. Maybe you get three turns to knock out the pokemon before it revives a threatening pokemon.
Astral Projection: This pokemon absorbs special attacks. After absorption this pokemons highest stat (ignoring stat boosts) is raised. This is kinda like a beast boost, but there's an actual solution. This could be given to a physical wall or sumn.
@@Frenemies. they are literally immune to like the majority of moves in the whole game. And they get a boost!? you use flamethrower, does 0 damage, they get a boost and kill. How is that in any way balanced.

Any tangrowth can take a UN-STAB but stab with potential sun is too much for it to handle.

@Benjamin Dupuis That's a permanent 25% defense.

@Benjamin Dupuis just dont give snorlax, shuckle, or blissey these abilities.
@Benjamin Dupuis maybe add pokemon with low bst that kinda feels like a survivor, maybe a mon from x and y (poke war)
Just make it activate when the pokemon takes damage from an attack, so they have to "survive" the attack. Skilled players can just use status moves and ailments to take it down without proccing the boost. Make it a hidden ability so inexperienced players don't have to worry about it.
I had a few ideas myself
Rotten - Turns Grass type moves into Poison type moves
Domestic - A Pokemon with this ability can use manmade items like Potions and ethers as held items
Recoil - All moves are more powerful but deal recoil damage equal to 1/5 of the damage done to the target.
Freezed Waters - Water type moves become Ice type
Irate - Depending on the move, Attack or Special Attack gets a stat boost if the user’s move misses.
Restraint - Moves with recoil damage no longer deal said recoil damage, but at the cost of reduced power.
Domestic would be too busted. Imagine just having a full restore on a pokemon.

I thought about it and an alternative for this could be an ability called cuteness which makes makes it so if the user gets a status condition the opponent's damage is lowered

belly drum: *DEATH THEME INTENSIFIES*
isnt elite mode just zen mode mr darmanitan
Opportunist: Upon receiving a stat boost, the user receives another random stat boost of the same increase.
For example, Swords Dance, sharply boosts attack, then Opportunist kicks in and you have also sharply increased your speed. So it isn't broken, the same applies to stat decreases.
Too op
@@zaperator4449 eh it could be, but if it gets a stat drop another stat also drops to make it fairer as i mentioned. and ofc would be on a weaker mon, probably dark type.
@@KamisatoElias yeah for weak mon, this is not that op.
Bro made a prediction.
First place: The user’s first turn on the field goes first no matter what.
stealth rock and roar:
Even before Protect?
@@TheTwistedTreant526 Yeah, because then protect would just make the ability useless.
I got an idea for a legendary/mythical Pokémon,
Nobinu, the forest fire Pokémon Grass/Fire type. Looks like a dog made of fire, covered in wood armor, with the ability Nature's Fury, which increases the power of fire and grass type moves and healing moves.
Signature moves:
1) haven't come up with a name for it yet, but it's basically the same as Charizard's G-max move
2)Forests Rebirth. Fully heals all Pokémon in play, and creates the sunny weather condition.
Energy efficient: The user only loses a move’s pp every other turn
That's just 70 tail whips. I love it
@@cpc0469 noooooooooooo
New ability: Gruesome
User ignores type immunities
Talking about the terrain abilities, it’s always bugged me that there’s not a water one because all the tupus have the ability to summon a terrain based on their primary type, electric, grass and psychic, but tapu fini has Misty terrain and not water
We already have rain for water tho
@@omegapancake3206 terrains and weather effects are 2 different things
*Primal Regigigas*
_Continental Power_
All Punch moves (i.e. Drain Punch, Fire Punch) now have 100 base power but it's speed is halfed.
*Mega Regice*
_Icicle_
When on the field with Regirock or Registeel, it gets a +2 boost to Sp.D. and Sp.Atk.
*Mega Regirock*
_Igneous_
When on the field with Regice or Registeel, it gets a +2 boost to Def and Atk
*Mega Registeel*
_Tungsten_
When on the field with Regirock or Registeel, it gets a +2 boost to Sp.D. and Def.
-----
*Steel Body*
The Pokemon takes half as much damage from Fighting and Normal type attacks.
*Overwhelming Presence*
Reverses any ability that would lower stats to target the Pokemon that had the ability.
*Quick Dash*
The Pokemon's priority moves almost always go first. (Except in some situations like feint attack and protect)
*Sight See*
The Pokemon deals a little damage (5-10%) through substitutes, protects, etc.
*One Eye Opened*
Sleep lasts half as long.
*Redirection*
If the Pokemon with this is targeted for an attack by an ally pokemon, redirect it towards a random pokemon that's not itself (including the other ally) at 1.25x its base power.
*Shadow Snatch*
Switch Items with the opposing Pokemon on switch in.
*Mental Overload*
This Pokemon's Sp.Atk cannot be lowered.
Blackout: Turns Electric moves into Dark moves
Breakthrough: If the user Pokémon is confused, and it manages to hit the target, it’s attack will be a critical hit
Furious: moves will always crit if the user has a status condition
Built Different💀: Moves the target resists will become moves the target is weak to
Gone Hollow:(R.I.P) Unkillable without a status condition
Built Different should be an unaware type ability in which when taking or dealing damage the type chart is inverted
@@kimyonaproject wooooah that’s cool too!🔥
I want the skull emoji to be part of the ability name that appears on-screen 😂
@@beardlessdragon HAHAHA😂either the skull or “😤”
I've actually been coming up with my own Pokemon concepts, but so far, I've only decided on five Abilities:
Mean Streak- Increases damage dealt by the user to Pokemon with a status condition (poison, paralysis, burn, sleep or freeze) by 20%.
(In other words, a sun counterpart to Rain Dish and Ice Body.)
Quarantine- Prevents self and ally Pokemon from becoming poisoned (unless the poisoner has Corrosion and isn't doing so using Toxic Spikes) and blocks the poison-related effects of Venoshock and Venom Drench (but not Hex).
Divided Hit: One-hit moves hit twice but with half power
Example:
Instead of a 90 power Flamethrower/Thunderbolt/Ice Beam, the move becomes a 2 hit attack with 45 power, with the perk that each individual attack still has the same chance of having a secondary effect as the original.
It would seem like a really pointless ability in normal play but in competitive it could help break substitutes, disguise and have higher chances to cause secondary effects
Scald becomes a 60% to burn with no drawback 😳
@@Dhimo758 True... What have I done... 0_0
More new abilities:
Mutation: The user receives +1 or -1 stat change in a random stat, at the end of each turn
Amplify: Increases the power of your allies sound-based moves by 1.5x
Geoforce: Turns Normal type moves into Ground types moves
Malicious: Turns Normal type moves into Dark type moves
Acidic/Acidity: Turns Normal type moves into Poison type moves
Vegetate: Turns Normal type moves into Grass type moves
Aquafina: Turns Normal type moves into Water type moves
Sweeper: Removes the Terrain when the user enters into battle
Jealousy: Copies the targets shat changes at the end of each turn
Jester: Dark types' immune to Prankster is ignored while the user is in battle. Also bypasses Queenly Majesty
Sandy Spirit: Increases the power of Ground types moves used by the user and it's allies by 2x (So Steely Spirit for Ground types)
Isolated: In double battles, the user doesn't take damage from any Spread moves (either from the opponents or it's allies)
Exorcist: Removes Ghost type immunities while the user is in battle
Tarōẏāla Style: Increases the power of slicing and cutting moves by 1.3x
Air rider- sets Tailwind when the user enters the field
sounds overpowered in doubles tho
@@goGothitaLOL what?
That ability would be too good for doubles. Same if an ability did that with Trick Room. An opponent would have to use a prankster ‘mon to set tailwind just to attempt to outspeed, while the user can double attack immediately.
If anything, we should get an ability that ends any tailwind or trick room when sent into battle.
Here’s an ability for a mega skuntank. Toxic Spray: Upon mega evolving or entering the field, poison all Pokémon on the battlefield.
like a toxic terrain?
Ability name idea: "Siren"
Discription: "User can use attract on any pokemon regardless of gender, infatuated pokemon lose 1/8th of their max health as damage at the end of each turn".
As for the mon that gets this, Im thinking a water/fairy pseudo-legendary mermaid who gets a lot of sound based moves like boom burst.
@@summermermaidstar756 so just Primarina
Sans: If you got 500 shinys in total sans appears and plays megalovania in battle.
But it doesn’t do anything
new ability: fire version of dry skin, cold skin the user is immune to fire type attacks (which heal them and rise speed) and if the user is under sunny day or Desolate Land and is burned (yes you can mix both) they ill heal from the sunlight and the burn and their speed will double but any cold ice type attacks will do double the damage and being frozen or under hail will hurt the user
That's pretty cool that you're doing this. As a Fakemon Creator, I know for a fact that lots of people can come up with a really interesting ideas. I wonder if you could ever tackle a Fakemon video next time
Ability: Permafrost
All attacks have an additional 10% chance of freezing.
damn thats op
Divorce: If an infatuated pokemon gets hit with a super effective move, it snaps out of the infatuation.
Mighty Sacrifice: The user sacrifices itself to revive one of the party members to full health.
Maybe change the first one to broken heart, immunity to infatuation, and change mighty sacrifice so it is clear how it works. Maybe like perish song it starts a countdown until death, but instead, it is a countdown to revival. Maybe you get three turns to knock out the pokemon before it revives a threatening pokemon.
inner fury: if a pokemon uses a move that is the same typing as the pokemon getting hit, it does half more damage
GRAVEROBBER - Steals buffs of fainted pokemons while in battle
Astral Projection: This pokemon absorbs special attacks. After absorption this pokemons highest stat (ignoring stat boosts) is raised.
This is kinda like a beast boost, but there's an actual solution. This could be given to a physical wall or sumn.
that just seems beyond broken
@@KamisatoElias why is that?
@@Frenemies. they are literally immune to like the majority of moves in the whole game. And they get a boost!? you use flamethrower, does 0 damage, they get a boost and kill. How is that in any way balanced.
@@KamisatoElias I said that it can be given to a WALL. A wall like tangrowth and alomomola don't use boosting moves.
@@KamisatoElias Also most pokemon that run flamethrower run it as *coverage* not actual stab. If your a fire type your using fire blast. Not to mention the only wall threatened by flamethrower or fire blast is tangrowth, and what tangrowth is staying in on a stab flamethrower/fire blast? Any tangrowth can take a UN-STAB but stab with potential sun is too much for it to handle.
17:35
They also have had throat chop which makes the target unable to use sound based moves for a few turns
I’m gonna rewrite love sick: if opponent is infatuated with love it slowly takes damage
