It's interesting how the tone of this Interview was more him having to be on the "defensive" vs the other Interviews simply just sharing insight and knowledge...
Brian's point around cheap and fast L2's is actually solved by an L1, Solana. Also, the practical point by Chamath at 18:30 is also who their CEO Toly is. Super practical, trying to get this to 1B people.
sharing the solution to a problem is a problem in itself? If you said "man, I wish there were a place to watch videos on demand about virtually any topic" I'd be shilling by selling you on UA-cam right?@@lchpdmq
Brian missed one of the main use cases of Crypto which is tokenising real world assets - Larry Fink has spoken a lot about this. Blockchains such as Algorand, Hedera HBAR and NEAR protocol are all doing this; allowing users to purchase tokenised real world assets such as properties, gold, silver; even plane tickets.
Totally agree that the accredited investor laws need to change. I've been locked out of some great deals that have returned incredible ROI's because i'm not accredited. It's insane
Jason, you did a really good job here. I know some will be mad, but I thought you played devil's advocate very well here and I know it pained you to do so. It shows you are able to take both side of an argument.
Brian is correct I believe people should learn the blockchain in depth and you will understand why he is fighting so hard. I’m pro Coinbase his business is one of the best way to keep peoples money decentralized.
Vote election on blockchain. Every citizen that has the right to vote. Votes. Gives the country its proper leader???? Warren from Boston is afraid. Makes sense
@Jason, "You never learn anything while talking!". Let Brian speak and don't interrupt pushing your narratives. It was important that he describes the use cases of crypto and future narratives i.e. and also many other things. Super bad interview from Jason side, much to improve there.
every time Brian is on everything he talks about is just regulation regulation and regulation. That's the only thing that coiners care about, because there's no inherent products
Crypto still has the trust less backbone that makes it what it is. Brian will try and change this for less friction but then where is the line between crypto or normal traceable currency. There is a reason the founder for bitcoin is unknown m
Chamath does not get it and is completely out of touch. He sees Bitcoin as a product to be scaled up and sold to as many consumers as possible in order to make a profit. He is part of an exclusive group that has access and knows how to play the game. Bitcoin was created to allow a wider population to play a much more accessible game than he is playing.
One day we'll look back and thank cryptalistas..not in this weird attempt to "americanize" or "debunk" cryto, but in a global financial freedom way! 🧘🏻♂️🕉️🌐
Brian not shaking Jason's hand just set the stage for one of the best things I've watch this month.
how come he didnt shake his hand?
00:04
legend
at the beginning AND the end? sheeeesh
Without JCAL there is no All-In
I am so happy seeing this upload, Brian’s interview was the one I hoped you guys would put on your channel. Thanks!!
This talk shouldve, been two hours. Could listen to this man talk.
I love what Brian is saying!
Brian is so based! I love it! We need more CEO/founders like him that are willing to speak up.
WE LOVE YOU BRIAN! KEEP PUSHING!
I watch these to learn something new and am never disappointed. Thank you for an interesting discussion!
It's interesting how the tone of this Interview was more him having to be on the "defensive" vs the other Interviews simply just sharing insight and knowledge...
Brian really didn't shake JCal's hand. LMAO
👋
But why??
I loved Brian's responses to David's questions
If you love them so much, why don’t you marry them?
He was speculating pretty good
All-In just pumps out amazing content. Everyone of these interviews from the Summit have been fantastic.
I am an absolute FANBOY of Brian Armstrong 💪
Thanks for this guest!
he speaks about DeFi and regulation so well, he should def lead more of the crypto/ blockchain tech PR effort
Thank you
good podcast. Brian is a good guy too
6:53 Brian is on point saying that politicians can’t go around the constitution to create enforcement de facto.
Such a great talk. Thanks Brain.
Great chat. Perfect person on a perfect place. Keep it going Brian.
Brian is great. Thanks for this interview!
An enlightening talk and much learning to take away for novices.
Jasons awkward wave was priceless😂
Context ?
Class act job from Mr. Armstrong. Gary Gensler is regulatory corruption at its absolute worst; he needs to be stopped.
Sacks asks pointed relevant questions. Good interview
That intro song fires me up Every. Fucking. Time.
Brian is awesome!
love that guy
Good that Jason ask questions about the other side so we have a balance conversation! Even so I prefer Sask hehe.
Interviewer cut Brian off right when he was explaining future use case
Perhaps nothing is more significant than future use case
Did he just not shake Jason’s hand?!
Brian's point around cheap and fast L2's is actually solved by an L1, Solana. Also, the practical point by Chamath at 18:30 is also who their CEO Toly is. Super practical, trying to get this to 1B people.
Another problem with crypto is people pushing their coins all the time.. like this
sharing the solution to a problem is a problem in itself? If you said "man, I wish there were a place to watch videos on demand about virtually any topic" I'd be shilling by selling you on UA-cam right?@@lchpdmq
@@lchpdmq You should look into HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu (it's a real coin).
agree, solana has the best tech right now. tokenomics are not great, and sol token price took an absolute beating after FTX, but the tech is the best.
And ironically all the guys are also early investors in Solana and sold at highs.
Wgy we only had 27 minutes , love you guys
Great guest
Brian is a legend. Crypto is the future wether you get it or not…Chainlink Ccip is connecting with worlds largest banks right now
Brian missed one of the main use cases of Crypto which is tokenising real world assets - Larry Fink has spoken a lot about this. Blockchains such as Algorand, Hedera HBAR and NEAR protocol are all doing this; allowing users to purchase tokenised real world assets such as properties, gold, silver; even plane tickets.
No one is talking about Layer 0 (energy). It’s so important for AI Safety and Blockchains.
Yeesh Jason is tough to listen to
Why does Jason cut everyone off mid sentence? Dude is the worst
He cuts him off at literally the worst time right when Brian is about to say something super important lol
Chamath is spot on at 19:45
anyone on crypto twitter would attest
Totally agree that the accredited investor laws need to change. I've been locked out of some great deals that have returned incredible ROI's because i'm not accredited. It's insane

There’s so many interesting points Brian was about to develop but JCal interrupted with another question… it’s very frustrating 😢
These guys really skimmed the surface here! I’d Love to see your team have Charles Hoskinson on. Long form.
Assumption: They're advertising for the companies they hold equity.
"we need every transaction to get under one cent and one second" - Solana!
Shillana is not decentralized at all tho
Brian is the man. Jason clearly lost money on shitcoins
He’s playing devils advocate as he should. While you lamos are cheerleading Brian and crypto like some schoolgirls.
Jason please 🙏🏻 shut your yap and let him finish his responses!
based
One of the most important conversations!
Fed really likes their monopoly on counterfeiting
I expected better questions.
Brian killed it
Brian Armstrong is a superhero.
This should have been longer😒
Chapath doesn't realise how hard it was to connect to the internet in the early 90s.
Brian is correct I believe people should learn the blockchain in depth and you will understand why he is fighting so hard. I’m pro Coinbase his business is one of the best way to keep peoples money decentralized.
Brian unable utter the words Solana is equivalent of Biden unable to say the word Tesla
chamath criticized that same essay when it came out 🤣
Jason such a hater
I always wondered why Cathie woods invested with him, say no more ❤️.
Verus IDs are perfect case for decentralized IDs..
Vivek, Nikki or Marianne 2024 💜
Early into this interview but loving Jason’s journalistic/interview approach.
whish i could just listen to the audio
Jason and Brian not shaking hands 🤔
_"...take out the middle-man who are charging all these fees"_
Wow. Ironic coming from COINBASE!
Chainlink's Sergey would have nalied all those questions and more talking about CCIP..Anons do yall know whats coming?
Where's Peter Theil?!
Vote election on blockchain. Every citizen that has the right to vote. Votes. Gives the country its proper leader???? Warren from Boston is afraid. Makes sense

What’s with the pron music intro 😂
Crypto is my way to reach freedom
I'm good with that!
All in crypto
Jason’s attitude towards Brian was so much more combative than any other guest. The other three did well.
Brad is the 5th bestie... Brian is the 7th?!? who is the 6th??
Ryan Peterson from Flexport maybe.
Gurley
Queen of quinoa
How much did the guy on the left get paid off to play Devils Advocate
@Jason, "You never learn anything while talking!". Let Brian speak and don't interrupt pushing your narratives. It was important that he describes the use cases of crypto and future narratives i.e. and also many other things. Super bad interview from Jason side, much to improve there.
Brian lumping in Bitcoin with the rest of crypto (unregulated securities) has cost him years of headaches.
Bitcoin is the only commodity
False
Some parts of the interview are annoying. They ask questions and don't wait for an answer. Wish they would be a bit more professional.
I clicked immediately.
Brian starting the convo talking about regulatory capture is rich
The level of pettiness coming from these hosts is a bit embarrassing.
Brian should collab with Elon
13:45 Why does web3 suck? Because ETH is shit code and ADA fruition in a bear market...
Never have we seen a technology platform a decade into existing still talking about adoption. Crypto is such a joke
Under 1 cent and under 1 second transactions.....
Solana solves this.
It’s coming and the blockchain is scalable now.
That felt like 2h long video
every time Brian is on everything he talks about is just regulation regulation and regulation. That's the only thing that coiners care about, because there's no inherent products
darn. Brian was kind of unpleasant in this chat.

Trading is not a use case of crypto lol
Crypto is clown world.
