  • The warthog (Phacochoerus africanus) is a wild pig species native to Africa, known for its distinctive appearance, including facial warts and tusks.
Warthogs have a stocky build with a large head, pointed ears, and a relatively short neck.
Their most distinctive features are the four prominent facial warts (or bumps) on the sides of their face.
Both males and females have pairs of large, curved tusks, with the upper tusks being particularly long and curved.
