Matt, thanks so much for sharing your experience and appreciate you taking the time to swing by the office. We do love it when people come in or if you see us out in public - say hello. The community is amazing and we're so lucky to be part of it. Thanks for your business and keep on growing!
Eric, thanks for watching and commenting. It was a once in a lifetime experience to meet you and the Beardbrand team. I was blown away by the hospitality the team showed me. I think almost everyone took the time to shake my hand and welcome me. That alone will keep me a customer for life. Hoping to make it to CXBB next year! It’s funny, I tried the Tea Tree oil for the first time in my room at the Driskill. Every time I smell it now I am brought back to that moment. Pretty cool memory to relive every time I use it!
Totally agree with your review. I purchased the 3 gold oils and did not like the four vices and returned it and they gave me a store credit so I also purchased the 2 gold balms (old money and temple smoke) great quality, great scent and great customer service! Keep up the great reviews.
Yeah, it was an amazing experience to be able to meet the team and see all the behind the scenes of the company. Great company, backed by great people!
I've been using the Tree Ranger Utility Balm and it is one of my favourite beard products of all time. It manages to tame my coarse hair beard, and hydrates the skin underneath better than even my favourite Beard Oil. It also is great for overnight, and tames some stray hairs. Best beard product I've used so far
Cool review, bearded brother! I occasionally do beard product reviews and I reviewed this with some other Beardbrand stuff a couple months ago. I absolutely love the scent of this oil. I save it for special occasions for sure.
No BS Beard Reviews ya glad they finally did samples, best part is they give you $5 credit for buying a sample set for same price... awesome. Now I know the scents I will be buying from them with confidence. You will love the new four vices.
Just saw this review, great recap of your visit to Beardbrand HQ. I really do think Old Money captures the Biltmore House perfectly. I just received their newly released Starter Kit in Old Money so I could try out all their products (I've only ever used the utility balm). Old Money is absolutely phenomenal, it's still arguably my favorite scent in the industry (Temple Smoke and Liquid Gold are close behind). While the oil is definitely out of my range (although it makes for a great Christmas wish list item), the balm is actually an incredibly great deal. Most 1oz balms are selling for $15, however you can get 3.4 oz of Old Money for only $37, which is actually quite a bit cheaper than the market average price. Truly a great value for the incredible scents, I always have an Old Money and a Temple Smoke utility balm on the shelf.
You can try bad dog beard co amber oak scent, its a lot cheaper and they are using way better ingredients, as far as i know bad dog uses cold pressed unrefined carrier oils meanwhile beardbrand use refined carrier oils which if you didnt know what it means, it means that the oils are extracted with chemicals and solvents and they r using cheap glycerin to fill up their bottles which you can easily see in their ingredients, no one else uses glycerin in beard oil
My experience with beard brand products are the tea tree silver line beard wash and conditioners as well as the tea tree utility balm. I wash my beard on Tuesday and Friday with the products and love the feel and smell!! I have yet to try any of the oils though. Yes they are on the pricey side... I understand that not everyone has the budget for regular purchases... but I do plan to purchase a few oils here and there to add to my slowly growing beard oil shelf. I look at the beard brand oils like I do colognes... yes... you can buy cheaper colognes for regular/daily use and still smell good... but you always want a couple high end quality colognes for those special occasions or for those days you just want to pamper yourself. Beard on bra!!
Yeah, very impressed. You definitely pay for what you get and that’s a top shelf oil for sure. Love that Old Money scent! Give it a try at some point. 👍🏻 Thanks for watching and commenting!
Just wondering if I were to get one which should I get? The oil or the balm (can't afford both). Does one smell better than the other, or do they smell the same? Thanks! Love your videos btw
@@NoBSBeardReviews I got my samples today! Four vices really smells like tobacco on me! Old money is awesome too! Temple smoke is great! I’ll order the 3 pack! Side note: Four vices is very similar to Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille and/or Tobacco Oud! Not bad at all!
To me, it is maybe once a year as a treat to myself. Not something I can afford to buy on a regular basis though. It does smell amazing though and I feel like I can tell a difference between it and other beard oils. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Always wanted to try it... here is my thought though, for same price I could get the 3.4oz Old money Utility Balm... which according to beard brand themselves, their utility balm is "either or", Oil or Utility balm... so what are your thoughts on that? save money and get the utility balm instead? their styling balm is heavy, and does not come in old money scent, but their utility balm is light/medium old money scent. Another question, Why is all the beard brand videos made in Europe barbershops?
I had considered getting the Utility Balm but it was sold out when I purchased the oil. Plus I wanted the pure Old Money scent, I was concerned that the Utility Balm may smell slightly different due to the different butters used. They do some videos in the US from time to time, but I believe their videographer, Carlos Costa lives in the UK.
No BS Beard Reviews i have tried both the old money oil and utility balm and although they smell a little bit different i really liked the scent of the balm more , smells stronger and lasts longer and the oil had some kind of rose water smell in my opinion which the balm didn't have , plus its 37 dollars for 3.4 oz which is ok vs 40 dollars for 1 oz of oil which in my opinion is way overpriced
Hey Matt, the other day I saw some beardbrand products at target, that they don't sell on their website, I would love your opinion on that, hopefully you can check it out
This is their White Line, they used to sell it on their website but recently moved this line into Target. It’s still the quality you would expect from Beardbrand at a more affordable price. The scents are less complex than their Silver and Gold lines which is why they can offer them at a lower price. Definitely worth checking out!
No BS Beard Reviews thank you very much for the information, I will surely check out their utility balm since I been curious about it for a while, at at 14.99 is a great price
I picked up the white line utility balm at Target. Didn't care for the lumber yard scent but I couldn't return it because I used some. My advice? Spend the extra money for the gold line. You can't go wrong with any of the gold line products. Old Money is great and the Temple Smoke is AWESOME!!!
my husband loves the barbershop one you recommended ... but was unsure about spending 40 clams on the beard brand old money... maybe ill treat him... = )
Thanks man! Beardbrand is a great company. Love the Old Money scent. I have not purchased the utility balm yet, but am hoping to pick up the styling balm once it is released. Thanks for watching and commenting!
love this scent...unless your a new beardsman no need for the oil...the Utility Balm is all you need...so tell us when you went to the headquarters and went behind the scene did you see the bearded oompa loompas making the products.....
Please explain your odd statement for them being “self centered”. Beardbrand has done so much work in promoting good self image (for beardsman and alike), and not through their products. Also no one is forcing you to buy their gold line. It’s a nicety, one of those scents you where while going out and for special occasions.

Thank you! Yeah, you definitely have two great scents there. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Beardbrand is truly an awesome company...love their products
Yeah, they definitely offer a first class product and are great people!
Awesome that you got to go down to their headquarters and meet some of the staff. Old Money, one of the best, Cheers Matt.

So excited I am getting some old money should be here by the weekend. Great review Matt 👏
Matt, have you tried Beardbrand's Four Vices oil? It's my favorite scent from them. It's a sophisticated sweet and earthy scent. Incredible stuff 👍
Your description of the scent is nothing short of eloquent! Hopefully they are taking care of you. Sounds amazing!!
Hahaha, thanks. The hospitality they showed me when I visited was enough.
That’s really cool that you got to go to their headquarters and meet everyone! They do have awesome customer service! Great review Of a great company!
Thank you, it was a fun experience for sure!

Thanks man, yeah you have a great channel! I agree, I do save it for special occasions. Just makes the day even better.
Just received their new silver & gold scent sample packs! My fav are Four Vices, & Old Money!
Love that Old Money! I have smelled the old Four Vices but not the new version. Need to try that soon, cool they came out with those sample kits.
No BS Beard Reviews ya glad they finally did samples, best part is they give you $5 credit for buying a sample set for same price... awesome. Now I know the scents I will be buying from them with confidence. You will love the new four vices.

i love my old money. a little bit goes a long way and the scent lasts a while.
Awesome story!! Old money is killer! I have had one bottle and loved it. Definitely want to get it again.
Thanks man! Yeah, it’s such a great scent. I’m contemplating getting it in the Utility Balm as well
No BS Beard Reviews awesome!!
I love Old Money. I just got some samples in and thats my favorite scent. Definitely ordering some soon

Got the oil and the solid cologne...great stuff. Good review bud!
Thanks man, great scent!
I've always wanted to try it. Great review
It’s such a great scent. Still my all time favorite!
I spend all my money on making exotic hardwood combs. Maybe 1 day I can get some lol
Let me know if you ever want me to do a video featuring your combs and give you a plug.

Very well said!
Another great video! I really love Beardbrand products and use them often. I especially love the “gold line” scents!
Thanks man! Great company for sure!
I’m still waiting to try the gold line. I have the silver line now which is a cool scent as well. A bit Smokey and it definitely grew on me. ✊🏽✊🏽
Yeah, very impressed. You definitely pay for what you get and that’s a top shelf oil for sure. Love that Old Money scent! Give it a try at some point. 👍🏻 Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great review brotha.
Thanks man!
Just wondering if I were to get one which should I get? The oil or the balm (can't afford both). Does one smell better than the other, or do they smell the same? Thanks! Love your videos btw
Go with their Utility Balm, you’ll get the best of both worlds. Plus you get 3.4 oz vs 1 oz.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
I ordered the samples to smell before I buy. Based on reading I think I’ll get Old Money and Four Vices 👍🧔🏻👌
Both excellent choices!
@@NoBSBeardReviews I got my samples today! Four vices really smells like tobacco on me! Old money is awesome too! Temple smoke is great! I’ll order the 3 pack!

For that priced of $40 I would also use it sparingly. That’s a lot for that small bottom ! I would get that once a year for that price. 👍🏻👍🏻
I will say they use top shelf ingredients to create the scents. This is one of those products where quality over quantity matters.
Beardbrand is awesome. I like the Tree Ranger Scent. I’m willing to give this one a try.
Yeah man, I like Tree Ranger as well. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Is it really worth the price though?
To me, it is maybe once a year as a treat to myself. Not something I can afford to buy on a regular basis though. It does smell amazing though and I feel like I can tell a difference between it and other beard oils. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Yes, but it’s relative. What may be worth it to you might not be to others in many different facets.

How do you like lumber yard beard products by beardbrand.
I’ve actually never used them. They do contain similar ingredients though. Beardbrand is top notch.
Does the smell mix with perfumes on clothes ?
Potentially, they have a matching cologne though.
BeardBrand has amazing products! Another great review! 👊
Thanks! Yes, I have been very pleased with the products I have tried. Great people that work there as well!
No BS Beard Reviews I had no idea they were in Austin though. I'm in the DFW area so next time I'm around there I'll look them up.
Outstanding beard
Thanks man!
I take back everything I may have said about the price, this Beardbrand stuff is truly amazing 👍🏻
What did you end up trying?
Maybe one day I’ll build up the courage to try this oil
Do it, you won’t be disappointed! Great stuff!

IMO Old Money is the best scent ive come across. I love the scent, They need to make a candle. lol Is it expensive? Yes, but its so good......
Completely agree, I would like to see Old Money cologne!
my husband loves the barbershop one you recommended ... but was unsure about spending 40 clams on the beard brand old money... maybe ill treat him... = )
Best part is, if he doesn’t like it they will exchange for free. Great customer service!
I recommend the Luxurious Bastard original bastard its the barber shop scent and it's like 15 bucks and high quality
Great Review! Just purchased the “Old Money” beard oil and balm! Both products are pricy - you get what you pay for! Can you do a review on the balm?
Hahahaha, no Oompa Loompas. Just hard working regular folks.
Is it more of a warm oil or one of the cooler ones?
Somewhere in between, very good though!
haha in the UK this stuff costs the equivalent of £103.00 per litre - unless its made with unicorn piss its a rip-off by any standard.
Nice smell ,for about ten minutes then nothing much ,.,on me anyway.however I find that with lots of beard products,.must be my skin,.,
Self centered company way ovet priced im never spending $40 on this the sent lady only lsst about 3, hours
Yeah, I prefer my beard oil scents to last all day. I can’t speak to their other scents, but the Old Money scent lasts a good 12+ hours.
Please explain your odd statement for them being “self centered”. Beardbrand has done so much work in promoting good self image (for beardsman and alike), and not through their products. Also no one is forcing you to buy their gold line. It’s a nicety, one of those scents you where while going out and for special occasions.
No beard oil is worth anything over 20$. Period.
