In a way, Vince did try to keep Yazoo as an 'entity' by teaming up with Andy Bell who deliberately set out to be, an Alison Moyet sound-a-like.
Alison herself spotted it from the get go, especially when Erasure and Mute records released 'Who Needs Love Like That'...
