As what the voice teachers/coaches said, "it comes with the right age as to how your voice produces the sound". It's like a wine - the longer it is preserved, the taste becomes better. But in singing you have to be well technically guided. As I review this iconic piece, this arrangement was really destined for her range at present, and her vocal technique especially her placement. Her voice now sounds fully darker with a bit of lower passaggio. Her chest technique (one thing she uses during belting) is still dominant these days, it even sounded more fuller but not anymore the usual thin and sharp during her prime years. One thing that she still mastered up to know is her phrasing and her emotion towards the song. She can still put drama through her voice the way she interprets a song if you listen carefully. I appreciate this version so much - perfectly embellished with dramatic outbursts and dynamics.

Nandito ako nung live concert nya. Yung mga unang songs, hiyawan kame ng hiyawan tapos yung kinanta na to which is my very favorite song of RV, tumahimik ako. I do agree. Maganda Yung original version; however, in this version mas naunawaan ko at mas naramdaman ko ang tunay at Tamang kahulugan ng "Dadalhin". Heart-breaking song pala ito talaga. Amazing...after 20years Regine can still give new flavor to her songs such as this. I salute her in coping up with the change of her vocal range and capacity. Regine is a diva who continues to re-invent herself after so many decades. You will always have my respect.

For me, it is the interpretation that gives me goosebumps. The way she articulate and deliver every line of the song with a different tone than the original one gives a heavy weight to this version. If you listen closely to how she expresses and interprets every word, you will truly understand that it is one of the saddest song ever written. Not every artist can interpret the way she does. This song is a perfect track to every break-up playlist. Like if you agree! =)
