Did you catch the deformity on that redfish? Any ideas on what might have caused it? Let me know your thoughts!

I know this area- any remnants of red tide up there? FWC’s website showed it up there few weeks ago. Now it’s down by Venice/ S. SRQ. Water looks great tho! Thank for posting.. great video 👏

@@landisix9709 I didn’t notice any signs of red tide during this trip. I was out camping last week as well, and the waters were clear then too.
Thanks so much for your support-I really appreciate it! Stay tuned for more videos coming soon!

@@idkdev2437 When targeting snook, I focus on areas with structure like mangroves, docks, AND any spot where the water depth changes-such as channels or outlets. These are prime hunting grounds for snook.
As for bait, match the hatch by identifying what’s naturally available in the area and mimicking it. My all-time favorite for snook is the unweighted Mini Mullet by NLBN. Skip cast it under structure and retrieve it with erratic twitches. It might feel a bit unconventional, but trust me, it’s incredibly effective.
