When the words have all been said When you made up all your bed When the codes have all been cracked When you double-back your tracks So, what now? Where go I? When it seems it’s all said and done When the storm is up and gone (up and gone) When the battle has moved on (has moved on) When the races have been run (have been run) When the songs have all been sung (have been sung) So, what now? (So, what now?) Where go I? (Where go I?) When it seems it’s all said and done Stop the fire Stop the fire Spot the wire Come on, stop the fire You drank the dirty water You put the fire out You drank the dirty water You put your fire out When the room has hit so clean When the scenes have all been seen When the rows have all been cleared When the fears are all unfeard And what now? Where go I? When it seems it’s all said and done When the pieces have been matched (have been matched) When the itches have been scratched (have been scratched) When the courses have been run (have been run) When the songs have all been sung (have been sung) So, what now? (So, what now?) Where go I? (Where go I?) When it seems it’s all said and done Oh Stop the fire Stop the fire Spot the wire Stop the fire You drank the dirty water You put the fire out You drank the dirty water And you put the fire out On your feet, or on your knees Freedom is just one of these Stop the fire Stop the fire Spot the wire Stop the fire You drank the dirty water You put the fire out You drank the dirty water You put your fire out, yeah
I feel like the chorus is fairly decent, especially during "when you" or "when the" parts. Until you hear "You drink the dirty water, you put the fire out". Seriously James what were you thinking.
"On your feet or on your knees
Freedom is just one of these"
Such a sick line
I feel like it rings true to events that are still relevant honestly. Pretty cool
this recording sounds like a song that could be on ReLoad
Wow, those backing vocals sound like 1991 James at around 1:40.
So we went from the wankest chorus ever to one of the best.
Now that's progress
on the demo they took the chorus, what is the best thing on this song
that chorus do be slapping tho
i thought metallica jumps in the fire instead of putting it out
1:50 at 1.5x speed
Cool story, Dave.

*_STOP THE FIRE!_*
xD the working title is funny
The Judas Kiss is twelve times better than this
It very much.
When a demo mix is better than the album serious mistakes have been made, Q Prime
James already did that in Toronto, it's not fun when you nearly burn off all your skin on your arm.
yeah it was james, then dave, then kirk, i didnt need a smartass answer
They were in the fucken zone recording this
start the fire, spark the wire.
One of the worst lyrics I’ve ever heard.
@@tobyhowe6259it’s was just demo
Haha nice :)
So much slower than Judas Kiss. I don't like it...
Backing vocals sound like Jason
So fucking cool and diffrent then Death Magnetic
Parece o trevor phillips do gta 5 no vocal
should have left the name Gym Bag
sped up this wouldn't sound to bad
and I just heard the chorus😵
lmfO dude demo magnetic sounds better than death magnetic (in terms of not being brickwalled to shit)
really? makin fun of the first lead guitarist of thrash metal, he and the rest of metallica back then invented this genre
7 minutes of going no where
7 years of no replies.
@@ardennes3016 you could've made it 10
I like how James uses a Metal amp on the demo and then uses a rock amp on the real album version.
The chorus sounds really bad but everything else sounds pretty good
I feel like the chorus is fairly decent, especially during "when you" or "when the" parts. Until you hear "You drink the dirty water, you put the fire out". Seriously James what were you thinking.
The only bad part to this song is the first 17 seconds, it sounds horrible. Rest of the songs slaps though.
