Falcons are great hunters, they surprise their prey with speed, within seconds they can dive from up in the sky to ground.
Laggar falcons are large falcons, smaller than Peregrine, and slightly slower, but that doesn't means they aren't fast, see the video for their skills and speed.

I love laggar... And I thank you for the amazing video of wild laggar , which is only one and belongs to you. I want them in my area but how can I reintroduce them in Punjab 🙄. Hope to get some more fantastic video of laggar hunting in the wild. ❤️❤️❤️

Have flown a couple of Falco jugger in the UK, just to the lure & not much hunting. Would of liked to have flown a male & female together (Cast) as they have shown potential. Had a friend fly a Lanner/ Lagger hybrid & it was quite successful at partridge. A lot of Lugger/ Lagger (Falco jugger) being bred in the UK every year & some, i have heard are for reintroduction in India

@@kevinparker461 hi , a cast of laggars can bring down a full grown hare with excellence in sport. T.C. Jerdon even hawked lessee florican with laggar. They are good birds but are falsely mistreated. Hope human population decline so we can get a comeback of lost species again.👍
