Do you believe the cancer research conducted on lab animals has much benefit to humans? Do you think it’s fair to put animals through torture, pain, suffering, and death for the chance that it might somehow help cure our diseases? Do lab animals not have rights?
She is the director of laboratory science with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, a nationwide organization of physicians and laypersons that promotes preventive medicine, especially good nutrition, and addresses controversies in modern medicine, including ethical issues in research. She is also an outspoken animal rights activist and whistleblower on the truth about the negligible effectiveness of cancer research on animals. Over 90% of the findings do NOT transfer to human benefits, treatments, etc. Yet, scientists insist on continuing to use such ineffective means which cause incredible suffering, pain, and death to millions of animals each year.
