We did a couple of weeks travelling around Kerala just before lockdown. One of my absolute favourit places. We spend three days on a Houseboat from Alappuzha which was amazing.
We have been there, in kerala. Can get the feel. Was told the mangroves hanging from trees are poisonous. There are spice shops in the market. One can buy a small packet of samples of these, to get a taste of each.
I would recommend Sir/Madam to visit some of old British museum in Kerala as Kerala has keep everything safe and didn't destroyed anything so that we can see the past life and their cultures as well. As a foreigner, how do you think Kerala should develop tourism, what are the challenges and difficulties, you faced in Kerala, what are the things that you wish that could have been much better
I'm no tourist but i can say that the language of Kerala is especially difficult to learn and understand. If you don't learn a few words to communicate with the locals, you're going to be in some trouble. Like getting lost, not understanding the situations you're in. That's one thing.
As you are pushing the food into your mouth with your thumb while eating with your hand, also apply a slight bit of suction to the food to get as much into your mouth as possible before gravity takes over. Not so much suction that it ends up in your lungs, just enough to help it along into your mouth.

Yeah. Those are the same prawns. The difference is that the uncooked version are laid out straight and the cooked version are rolled up so that the skewer can penetrate at 3 or more points along the prawn's body. This allows the prawn to be presented to the heat source, likely a large frying pan with some oil, in such a way that the prawns cook evenly on that one side. The skewered prawns are then flipped over to allow the other side to be cooked evenly as well. This does not take longer than a minute or so per side. The masala that is smeared on and rubbed into the prawns is a much drier paste than a marinade. The paste is able to stick to the prawn, whereas a marinade would simply drain off and leave the prawn meat unflavored. They know how to cook. You don't. Stop presuming you are being scammed in a situation that you know nothing about. You could have gotten up off of your ass and asked to go film the cooking process, be it your serving or some other guest's serving of prawn or whatever, for your self assurance and a better video for your viewers. Don't presume that the locals are the same types of crooked cooks as those you are used to back at the fake pulled-out-of-a-freezer-poured-out-of-3-tins-and-a-cardboard-box "curry" houses at home. Do you really think these people can afford to poison their guests, the vast majority of whom are locals, and still remain in business? Killing off, or even just planting on porcelain for three days, your potential return guests, is hell of a business model, don't you think?
Woah, relax man. They're travellers, they're not locals. Obviously they won't know the details but we can let them know nicely. You seem like someone who knows his way around the kitchen. Where are you from?

Well thats how you eat it with hands. I think I mentioned that before. But you must be a pro now. Eating naan or roti is easier with hand to break it in the exact size as you can eat at once. But I have seen people breaking it in only two parts. For Dahl or gravy based dishes some round up like a cone. The unspoken rule is the bread should break with one hand otherwise considered as not cooked completely. And you do not leave any foodgrain behind like you do in West.
