Apparently you can become enemies with benefits via the romance option on the wishing well if you get the death result.
Yeah, this is the only way I've ever gotten that relationship type.
I think the sims have to declare each other as enemies before you start the romantic interaction to get enemies with benefits.
I was actually going to suggest the opposite: never actually do the "declare enemy" interaction. I think the declaration of enmity is overriding the relationship-bars-combo categorization of "enemies with benefits."

I’ve done it multiple times. You have to have sims in a very high romantic relationship, and slowly decrease their friendship. Don’t make them too mean bc then the romance will decrease as well. You have to keep being romantic and slightly friendly but more mean until you have a very red friendship bar but a high romance.
First you do nothing but flirty and romantic interactions. You make no small talk, do nothing that would qualify as a friendly interaction. Once you max out romantic interactions, you pick fites with them. Do this until the romance is about halfway. The friend meter will be lower, but likely not at red. Flirt some more and even woohoo to really get it up, but that can increase the friend meter too. Get the flirty back as high as you can without doing any friendly interactions again, then start picking fights again. It'll go into the red some, and their romance will still be pink.
The way I got this relationship statue by accident was by using a micro house to get the relationship buffs being flirty then meeting Greg and getting knocked up first time we met. Then I tried to talk to him and he was mad at everything 😂
And the kid that was born was never afraid of him cause she was a werewolf or kid I don’t know. So I’d send her over to hang out with her father when I got sick of being a parent. He’s actually a pretty good dad.

My sim became enemies with benefits with her ex. When they broke up the friendship went into the red, but there was still a bit of romance so I just built that back up. You have to have -100 friendship and +100 romance for the relationship type to show up in the sims panel
Its not a mod for anyone saying so, its base game. You have to ask them to be woohoo partners first and then make them hate each other.
Also, you have to fully max out romance and friendship bar to get the relationship status
If you ask the other sim for their romance and woohoo preferences, you get an option to ask them to be your woohoo partner. You can be acquaintances and be woohoo partners.
I got enemy with benefits by being enemy first, then on my computer, spamed love letters.
You have to queue the interaction, otherwise, there is a cool down.
That how I did it easily, storytelling wise, she was catfishing, but cought feelings.

I had two sims be enemies and have a romantic relationship before and I literally didn’t even try. I have no idea how they did it but I would assume it’s not that hard if you don’t try lol

So Brant and Brent Hecking became enemies with benefits in my game when they asked to do a stay over and repeatedly fought at my sims's house. I eventually added one of them to my household and they had the enemies with benefits on it. I think they need to be in a relationship first and then fight it out, as Brant and Brent were still married but had the title.
having the sims become enemies first, aka have the friendship bar in the red (doesn't matter if they declare or not) and then start having the sims do romance interactions as the romance bar pops up growing in pink, leads to the status the best. it starts off as saying "hot & cold" before eventually saying "enemies with benefits"
considering how you started the two off and so quickly, the game registered the dynamic as still something sweeter than enemies with benefits. overtime it would eventually say enemies with benefits as long as the friendship bar stays in red high, and the romance bar stays in pink pretty mid-high.

Looking on Reddit, someone said: 1) they think its scenario-story mode informed (like you achieved the status that the scenario wanted you to complete and once done, then it'll show up. If this is true I wonder if its only limited to specifically playing that scenario and no other way. 2) Another said its possible and that they have to be in a relationship first where they are soulmates then break up and then get back together." So who really knows, interesting if you retry with either of these methods
I got the status once with a couple I had. They had max friendship and max romance but one of the sims cheated, so they went max negative friendship romance and max negative romance but after a time they started flirting again and the romance bar when up.

I've done this before.. you have to have them in love first - get that romance bar all the way up. Then proceed to be total ass to them but still woohoo with them.. as long as the romance bar is still up you can have them hate each other but still woohoo

The one time I tried friends with benefits was with a coworker when I was doing the Not So Berry and during the Science career. I had already had a full friend and love bar with a coworker because they had a child together and when the friends with benefits option came up I tried it because I hadn’t seen it before. It immediately dropped the friendship bar from green to red, but he was DTF whenever my sim wanted to. Otherwise he never wanted to talk to my sim at all again.

Maybe try the sernerno but i think you have to max out the red meter and the pink meter
I have done it by starting with full romantic bar and then just fighting, it does show up as enemies with benefits you just have to have both of the bars full

Im sorry to say Carla but they updated the game to not have that photo glitch anymore to gain friendship . Its sucks :((
I think she uploaded the videos out of order, because she acknowledged that last week. Apparently, you can still give all the photos to the Sim afterwards individually to get the same results
I just started playing and I think I had a situation where I could have done this. I’m married to jim landgraab now but I cheated on him, that’s all it was and the guy would message me about going on dates with girls so I wasn’t thinking anything bad when I invited him to my wedding but he slapped me two different times he was angry he made my sim angry and I yelled back at him and an option that said frenzied kiss popped up but I didn’t want to do it in front if Jim so I tried to call Micheal to the side but Jim had put himself into the conversation so he kept following and when he finally left I didn’t have the option anymore. So I’m guessing building some of a relationship then woohoo him and then kiss someone else infront of him and if he reacts by hitting you, lol, then be mean back and it might give you the option x

I maxed the romance bar first then had my sims alternate between mean interactions, fighting & woohoo until the red bars & pink bars were full. Then had them "declare enemy", gottem in "very flirty" moods & woohoo'd. Took HOURS, tho.
I think "enemies with benefits" is just a solution to that scenario, rather than a relationship title. I think I remember getting that solution, but I've never seen it on the profile
You should have done romance first woohoo then be mean. That's how I got it
I know SO many cheats that could've helped you with this...
you have to maybe full enemies bar and romance.
It's possible to build a romantic relationship with Sims that dislike each other by writing love letters on the computer. I've never tested it with enemies.
The sims have to hate each other and woohoo at least once, in my experience at least. I got this relationship type on accident once because my sims spouse caught her cheating but they stayed married 😅
Even after their green bar was back up it stayed on their sim profile
There's under the friendship a choice to ask to be WooHoo partners. I don't know if it's one of my mods though.
I think thats WW or Lumpinou's Relationships mod? Don't think that's "MM" friendly accordingly to EA

You can’t if you didn’t get the free ultimate edition on origin/ea app in 2014. Unless you have a very old computer and the disk version. But I even think the license could have run out by now.
The only other possible option I could think of is illegal and might get you viruses and trojans. (Don’t do it)
If, on the other hand, you want to know how to get a Sims 2 Game that you already installed running on Windows 11, you will find help on modthesims or the sims wiki.
