UK is a fifth world country when it comes too the mg HS , top of range (trophy ) doesn't get the lovely bi colour interior option you have in Romania (only uniform black ) or for me , more importantly. a sunroof 😢. So in UK we are priced at 39,100 Euro for a metallic colour.
I think china had overstock in non sunroof hs body shells used them and sent them to Britain

@@SDADanCars I saw a few social media sites for MG Motor Switzerland, meaning they will launch to Switzerland in the near future.
Perhaps more details regarding the Swiss launch will be further confirmed in the upcoming Geneva motor show.
In uk insurance companies have given the phev version a " inadequate" safety rating , as no upgrades for brake and suspension against the standard petrol 160 horse power only range , which has a adequate insurance safety rating. So insurance for the phev model rises ££ quite a bit versus the petrol only model.
Make a tutorial on how to connect Apple CarPlay to the multimedia system from MG, please. I'm glad to see that MG is now offered in Romania.

Can it fully charge solely through braking? Or do we have to plug it in at some point? What happens if the battery runs out on the highway? Will the petrol engine keep it running?
Once you use the misly 25 miles up (whether segmented or the 25 electric only miles all in one go ) you then just stay in petrol mode . This isn't a good mpg for longer journeys as your heaving a extra 280 kilo compared to standard petrol model , for example a 150 - 200 mile round trip and you havnt recharged after reaching destination you will get less mpg for 80% 😢 of the whole journey. Really only suits peeps who potter about 30 miles a day or have a charge point at work .

Nice video Dan and interesting car! Can you please make a fuel consumption test with empty battery? So petrol only consumption. Would be interesting for us because we are looking for a car to drive short distances electric only but also want to go on vacation with. Thx :)

considering the chong quality is usually 💩 it would be interesting to see how the car fares after 1 or 2 years of normal usage and what problems will occur. cause you know, all new things are nice. till you start to use them and suddenly problems no one told you about start to pop up.

Nice video and a nice car. I am using the 2021 model and I feel some stiffness in the steering wheel when maneuvering , Any idea of why or any settings or suggestion to correct it?
