My second house is in Taurus not Aries and my 8th house is in Scorpio my 3rd house isn’t Taurus it’s actually in Gemini but all the other houses seem to be correct

No, ascendant is totally based of tropical astrology/ seasonal astrology. In fact the origin of "vedic" astrology is only based on fixed stars but over the years indian people/astrologers tried to mix it with zodiac signs (which is something tropical. Vedic is fixed star astrology, tropical is zodiac/12 signs astrology. If you want to see the best fixed star astrology do your research on Purple star astrology. Indian astrology is not wrong but some parts they fucked up because of mixing with zodiac(12 signs) astrology, fixed stars is the origin of vedic astrology.
