I own a Monument Grill that I bought last summer. 4 burners plus a side burner and a side sear station. I paid about $425. I use it 6-7 times a week. I love it. I did a deep clean just yesterday and it really is very well built. The window is difficult to clean. I ended up using a razor blade to scrape the heavy gunk off and then finished it up with Fantastic. The customer service from Monument is worth mentioning because it is excellent. I had minor damage occur in delivery. I contacted customer service and the rep sent out replacement parts right away and then followed up with me a week later. He even registered my grill for me over the phone. BTW, get the Monument Grill cover. Fits great and has held up beautifully in our brutal Arizona sun. No fading or determination. 2 Thumbs up. And after watching the 3 burner video yesterday, I flipped my grill grates to flat side up. Love it, easier to clean. Thanks Tom.

Love the monument grills. Seen one at my local Lowe’s. Why Weber is so popular is that every store carries them and it’s reliable. I work for an appliance company in NJ and 99.9% of the grills they sell is Weber and trauger. And sadly people will pay whatever price they charge just so they have reliable product and they don’t know about the other grills out there. Which returns it back to easy picking and people don’t wanna buy stuff like this over the internet

Their prices are amazing. I’ve got the Chargriller 980 and could use a small gas grill for convenience. I love that little 2 burner red one, it would be perfect for just my wife and I.

I lucked out there was a new 4 burner with 1 ceramic and 1 standard side burner Monument ( blue ) with some cosmetic damage I was able to get it for $200.00 It is an awesome grill .

Thank you very much for this through review. I am considering buying one of these from Lowes which is slightly different than the one you have here. I've made my decision and I'm going to buy it, based on your review here. The detail to the LED's, turning on and off each one was not covered by the video I watch prior to yours. You lined the drip pan with tinfoil which I will most certainly be doing. I'd love to see a follow up to this to see how the glass window holds up and the grease catch. The stones to monitor the top heat is just over the top. I appreciate the time you've invested into this. I was looking at the webber and I was concerned about the price. In my opinion if I'm paying about $100/yr for the longevity of the grill then I'm happy. so at the $400 price range if the grill lasts 4 years I'll be satisfied. Whereas the webber would have to last 17 years for me to feel I've got my money's worth out of it. 'casue if you're going to spend $1200 you might as well go for it and buy the thermometers and all the tech too. So it'll still be $1700.

I am still trying to decide what grill to buy and am really leaning towards the Monument. I am in love with the blues in the Mesa series but am not sure how that paint will hold up over time... Am I better off to go with the Silver? I can buy a red one right now at my local Hardware store at a very good sale price, but I don't want red and that is the only color they are offering here in Canada.

Having a hard time deciding between this and their 35633. They’re currently $10 difference in price. The only noticeable difference I see is that the 415bz has the searing burner inside the firebox. Anyone have any input as to which is better?

We need a new grill, been a Weber owner for years but haven’t been super impressed with newer ones quality. Since being bought out there are rumblings of quality reducing, the fit & finish is no where what I recall when I first bought the. Even though they still do well in “best grill reviews” figured time to see what is out there. Narrowed in on this one, fit, finish and quality of materials has me sold I hope that we are not disappointed.

Just picked up a Lowes 405 bz today on a Father’s Day deal. Adding it to my 15-year-old Char-broil 2-burner. If that’s the 415 in the video, it looks like the big difference is the center cooking grid has three burners under it, and it’s got a diamond pattern on the plate. Kind of looks like it’s designed for searing, and then you can finish a steak low on the sides.

As for Weber, the local Ace Hardware are pushing Napolean Grills over Weber, they are better built and in the same price point with better warranty. Napolean is also still family own where as Weber bought sold out. Hint Napolean is a billion dollar company that does more then grills.

Every time I've bought one of these cheaper Chinese made grills, they just die. The weight isn't there in the metal, so it rusts out The stainless steel is lowest grade 400 series, not 300 series, so it ends up rusting too. That being said, I think Monument is doing well at evolving the lowest end of the market. I will still definitely take the Spirit 100% of the time, because of the warranty and parts availability. At the Genesis price point, Grilla gets my vote. King for me though will always be my USA made indestructible natural gas MHP Tri-Burn, complete with the original aluminum grates 😁

Thanks for Watching! From price point features these are better. Unfortunately the majority of Weber gas grill production has gone overseas. When I toured Weber manufacturing 3 years ago, the only manufacturing was in the 22” kettle, gas and pellet grills were being assembled and packaged not manufactured. I’ve heard rumors that allot of all the gas a pellet grill assembly and packaging has since then gone overseas.
As Tom stated the vast majority of Weber is no longer made in US.
