We need some official rules for this type of 'rolling road' . I think it would add a lot to the game.
Scenario 3: Long Road Home from Time Extended #1 uses the concept of a long chase as well, but uses different mechanics to accomplish it. I like the randomness this brings to the terrain setup.
The terrain movement ideas in this are awesome

Brings a tear to this old warbosse's eye...used to tool around on a bike with a sidecar and would leap on opposing vehicles. A large blade mounted on the fender dubbed "Da knee cappa" since it was about knee-high to an Ork.
I witnessed this shiny and chrome.
Not sure what you thought about the random placement of terrain but it looked like maybe more variance would have been better? I suggest rolling single d20s or d12s if you plan to do opposed dice rolls. That way there's more of a chance for terrain ending up further from the centre of the board.
I think I’d probably go with D20s next

That was badass. Love the bus idea with harpoon worked out fantastic. I might have to try that during an Arena of Death match. Thanks for sharing Ash.
A bus with harpoon is super fun, plus the harpoon is very cheap and you can get both side rams for 4 cans because you only pay once for side weapons (was in a faq)
There is a Daytona roadrunner under a tarp just a few miles away from me... epic car!!!
I feel like it should be pronounced more like "Daytona Roadrunnah", just to let it roll off the tongue better.
This is a cool Scenario! I think your playing harpoons wrong though.
Harpoon: This weapon’s hits do not cause damage. Instead, the first un-cancelled hit on
the target spins the target vehicle on the spot to either face directly away from or directly
towards the attacking vehicle, whichever requires the smallest degree of rotation, as the
harpoon catches and the chain goes taut. This triggers a COLLISION WINDOW.
The second and subsequent un-cancelled hits on the target then each move the target
a short straight towards the attacker, triggering a COLLISION WINDOW, as the harpoon
reels the target in.
If the target is a heavier weight class than the attacker, it is the attacking vehicle that is
spun and moved towards the target vehicle instead.
Plus page 5 of the FAQ says If I am attacked with multiple weapons in an Attack Step, do I roll a separate Evade against each weapon?
No. From Page 27: “After the attacker has rolled all their attack dice for this attack step and calculated the total number of hits the target is suffering, the target may make a single EVADE attempt.”
So causing the car to smash is fine, but since all weapons at the same target are rolled at the same time, the hand weapons could not be used when you pull him into range.
Still love this scenario and the great terrain!!!

Ah, the "rolling road" mechanic from Gorkamorka...I do like that you randomized the size of the hazards, rather than just choosing the largest.

Cant shoot after pulling someone if you werent in range already, because you declare all shoots before actually shooting and cant declare a shoot that is out of range, so no harpooning a car close to the bus and then shooting with the crew
The conveyor idea is good overall but, IMHO, the placement needs to be rethought. 5d6 is strongly biased towards the middle. We saw that in practice with all the terrain pieces showing up pretty much in the center of the board.

I just binge watched the gaslands playlist. it looks like a fun game im interested in playing. I was curious how a bus would hold up in a match. the other ones im curious about are the motorcycles and the gyrocoptors. since i can get a book right now and cant find any quick reference material im wondering how these 2 types of vehicles work and if they are limited on the templates they can use. also by what special rules they can use. I'd like to see you do a battle report using them.
also not to be nit picky but to give your terrain placement a little better variation, instead of using opposing rolls that on average will cancel each other out by math alone making for centralized features. use a single set of dice rolled once. 3d6 or 4d6 from center and use either a second die roll evens/odds for what side of center or a die from a L/R/C game with C placing the terrain piece in the middle. could also use a GW scatter die for arrow pointing to what side of table or on target as center. 3d6 will average 10.5 inches from center while 4d6 would average 14 inches. and the bases of the terrain features look to be 3 6 and 10 inches across so it would work out ok on most gaming tables. aside from that and maybe needing a 4x6 or 4x8 table the long way for this mission especially with the faster vehicles.

This might work well with the road and rough rules for terrain in the book.
That one car is shot with a harpoon and being dragged. In your second turn being dragged behind the bus wouldn't there be a flip check for the harpoon car?

Bus movement feels broken based on its extreme wheelbase. Is there any rule to compensate for this? Like how the war rig needs to articulate over the template?
