Here's an example of a difference that I barely hear of: in online co-op on Xbox 360 and I assume PS3 some of the torpedo things appear before you usually do that
Hey, I've been thinking of getting into speedrunning tcs for a while now, but I'm not sure if u can use wiimotes for 1p2c since all examples I've seen use a combo of xbox controllers and keyboards. If this is possible, are there any techniques to help w it? And if not, do wii speedrunners find a way to hook up a keyboard to a wii? Hope u can help Thanks
I know some of the Wii guys Velcro their wiimote and nunchuck together to make 1p2c a lot easier. It’s still probably more difficult than doing it on PC but definitely makes it easier to get into. Nobody hooks up keyboard to wiis
So question. If i wanted to use a Xbox controller on my pc to speed run the game i would still put that under Pc right? I've never speed ran before so sorry if its a dumb question.
For the most part this tutorial still holds up since most of the new stuff is very minor. There's a lot of updated resources in speedrun.com and in the discord for bigger skips among other things. The route is exactly the same, and the new red brick saves very little time. Making a new tutorial takes a lot of time since it involves many of the top runners who have lots of other things to do :)
There are a lot more in other lego games but not so much TCS. It really depends on the game. TCS is pretty keyboard friendly so it's a lot more common there, and often players will switch inputs between games, for example I play on keyboard in TCS but controller for Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Harry Potter
@@ERoadhouse I play another lego game where using keyboard is almost unheard of, that is why I was surprised that there was no double controller here. I guess it depends on the game

I’m surprised there aren’t more double controller players
