Being Muslim and also struggling with alcoholism is such a hard struggle. I always feel like I’m not worthy to worship my faith because of my own stupid addictions. I hope that I can one day make it through these struggles. I love god. And I’m so sorry that I can’t be the best person but I try my hardest everyday. I need you god to help me get over this, and I need you to be there for me. I love all my Muslim, Christian, and Jewish brothers... I will make it out of my alcoholism one day and I’ll look back and be proud of how far I’ve come. UNTILL then I pray for god’s strength, and his mercy in these hard times. I hope one day I can be forgiven :’(

We as an Ummah, Allah has expectations of us.. And just as we would be heartbroken when someone fails to meet our expectations, so does Allah weep for us when we fail.. But He is all forgiving. Our Aim should be to gain his smile, be among those who please Him and not among those who ask for His Forgiveness .
