    you sir I agreed with every thing till you started spraying the adhesive on to the table. That is why balls roll out of pockets and run away from rails because of over spray on to the playing field and no one cleans the table before the recover they just build up more glue on the playing field and make the playing worse

    The area he's spaying glue on will be under the rails (bumpers) when reassembled.

    Just wondering why you don't wrap the outer edges underneath the slate before trimming them.If you do, then your outside edges will then be equal to the pieces of felt that are glued to the two metal cross supports.

      According to valley remove the felt from the aluminum cross members..

    It looks like 3M Super 77, which is what I use as well.

    I have a similar model but older, it's wood instead on the ball returns. The thing is too big to get out of the basement, and I need to move it. Is any information available regarding taking them apart and moving them? I have the slate out like you do in this video, and the feet off as well but it's still too big. I would even gut the internal ball returns and what not and just use nets on the pockets if I had to, I just can't get it out of the basement. Any ideas?

    You should never spray glue on the playing surface of the slate (straight from valley pool school)

    Cool Thanks Dude...nice to watch a Pro at work...but I do agree with Spinnigan1 (why you don't wrap the outer edges underneath the slate before trimming them.If you do, then your outside edges will then be equal to the pieces of felt that are glued to the two metal cross supports).
    3M Super 77 Glue spray...got it!
    Thanks.

      kalebthakracker Can you link me a video that shows the correct way of doing it?

    • @MikeyJ91
      @MikeyJ91 8 років тому +5

      +kalebthakracker 1. it's a bar table. 2. everyone has their own way of doing it. 3. there is no "wrong" way to do it, if it gets the wrinkles out and it's flat then it is done correctly.
