I used to enjoy a few shows on ABC, but since I got streaming and subscription channels (and thus more choice in programming), and ABC's own programming became increasingly woke, I've completely stopped watching them.
Just last night I was at dinner with friends ( all aged 26/30 ) me being 56 and they truly truly believe they are of a higher intelligence in every aspect, conversation killer when I wouldn’t be silenced 😂😂 and not one of them had heard of Atsic or anything else to do with aboriginal affairs prior to their schooling and didn’t want to acknowledge that there has even been attempts to improve aboriginal health, education ect prior to the current narrative, also no one had ever heard of Jacinta price or Warren Mundine or were they interested in finding out
But I enjoyed watching the ABC coverage of the referendum count 😊, watching all of their special indigenous commentators slowly loose their minds as the votes were going against them, first was Tasmania and they said that they could still win 😅, then NSW, Victoria was to close to call and they were still waiting for SA, but they did get the ACT, and they still thought that they were going to win? But WA and Queensland were no voters the minute Albo announced the referendum 😅😂😊, the only thing that upset me was that WA was only the third highest NO vote! So far Albo has cost WA over 20 billion dollars in investment 10 billion dollars in agriculture, added 20% to the coast of living with his diesel fuel levy on trucks, forced the state government to invest in wind turbines or solar panels, while we have 400 years of natural gas supplies in reserve,
lol. In Sydney, there were many houses around with a "vote yes" sign (with rainbow colors on lol) in the front yard, plus every mailbox was filled with "vote yes" propaganda mails. With so much of coercive persuasion, and personally little interest in the political shit show in general, I honestly thought that would work, that the yes would win easily. It says a lot about how much Australians are against. Anyway, it's all BS to create horizontal conflicts and to avoid to deal with the real problems that concern everyone : high unemployment, unaffordable housing, high inflation, etc... Europe doesn't have aborigines, so millions of Africans are imported for that purpose I just mentioned.
@@deniswauchope3788 don't worry about that, just wait to see the next federal election and state election, we have already got rid of all but one of the greens, the referendum and aboriginal heritage act has sealed the fate of the labor party, Western Australians will never be divided by race! Treaties are upheld by International Law! That's the big difference. Treaties give away our sovereignty once signed and are bound by International Law!! let that sink in.... The Treaty push with indigenous peoples in Australia (the fake city mob anyway) is driven by the UN/WEF as a backdoor to take away land ownership! Don't let anyone tell you different . Oh and don't take too long thinking about the implications of living beneath International Law, because in May 2024 Albo is going to be signing a Treaty Agreement with the unelected, corrupt WHO that when invoked will give them binding power over our governments, police, military, health authorities and even our own bodies! All that needs to be done to invoke Treaty powers is for the WHO to declare a "Health Emergency" whatever that may be defined as). We need to stop this treasonous act now!
The lesson the wokerati will draw is: don't risk letting the Many upset the utopian 'identity obsessed' apple cart that the Few are so artfully constructing!
you already have to pay a fee to drive on some beaches which have been giving back to the indigenous people from national parks and wildlife, and the price tripled overnight
That's another argument the LNP and Independents should have given light to. At least One Nation tried to expose the rort. The Rainbow Serpent was primed to strike Ski Fields, Public Beach Access, National Park Camp Grounds and Hiking Trail entrances. Forget fishing, swimming, or enjoying other recreational watersports activities at your favourite beach, lake or waterway... if the Rainbow Serpent bans you entering an area or charges an extra tax upon your boating licence... you're either out, or it's a Pay To Play conjob 😡 55% of Australia has already fallen to the Native Title Act... 100+ Native Title Land Claims are currently under review... several new claims are being lodged on a weekly basis. All it takes to shut down these areas to all but aboriginal folk is ONE sketchy sacred site claim - All it takes to charge entry fees to free NatParks, or add Native Land Tax to those parks with permit fees, is One land title claim. All of these BS claims must be destroyed. We are ONE race (Human Race), ONE People (regardless of colour or landing date), sharing in and prospering from living on ONE land, together.
The AEC currently has the yes results at 39.28%. Only 6 other referenda performed worse. 84% of referenda got a higher result than this one. Only 11 others lost in all states. Blaming Dutton or misinformation or racism misses the lessons to be learned.
And sadly they still do, being unaccepting of reality and the decision of the Australian People. I really don't like being called an ignorant racist when I deem what they are trying to ram down our throats is blatantly racist and divisive, unAustralian. The No was a clear decision, a very strong signal from the Aussie voter that all people should be treated equally, support needs to be based on need not race or religion. The Voice campaign was inherently unfair, very dumb and unclear, devoid of principles, incredibly biased, more like a campaign by Goebbels using every instrument of government and State-owned media to demand and influence. I think the average Aussie expected a major referendum to be a free and fair one, based on a civil discussion of the issues, the possible solutions and a general consensus about the agreed proposition and how it would be implemented and held to account. But we didn't get that! Instead the majority reacted, unsettled by a history of being dissatisfied, uneasy about many related things but this Voice raised the issue to the surface, Aussies thought deeply, were obliged to decide and they did. This clear decision has huge ramifications and consequences, the issue will prevail, there is no sweeping it under the carpet, ignoring it. It can be an Election decider! And Yes, I say the ABC and SBS are biased, unAustralian and unmanaged but worse anti-competitive and stifling of the Australian media. There is the prime issue of what the hell is the role of lavish tax payer funding in operating a media giant when every Aussie, all over the country basically now has a smart phone and access to the internet. So like printed media, radio media, visual media, access to specific language or foreign media, international news, sports etc that are essentially pay for view so what is the justification for billion dollar tax payer funding on poorly performing, biased, non-inclusive media giants like ABC/SBS? Let them be brought into the real world and be subscription based, give people the choice. A billion plus per year can be spent better for the Australian People! I know that I haven't watched the ABC for 10 years and turned off SBS when it annoys me.
And yet, the Premier of the state with the largest No vote i.e. Queensland, announced today that "Nevertheless (couldn't care less) we will pressing on with a treaty". Where is the mandate from Queenslanders for this?

🤣👍🇦🇺
How the people of WA keep electing Labor drongos just escapes me. Apparently they don't want a better life!
@@deniswauchope3788 don't worry about that, just wait to see the next federal election and state election, we have already got rid of all but one of the greens, the referendum and aboriginal heritage act has sealed the fate of the labor party, Western Australians will never be divided by race! Labor didn't win the last elections, the liberal national parties lost it on policies, McGowan won because the liberal's said that they would close the coal power plant's, and then McGowan said that he would close the coal power plant's after the election, after protesting against the liberal's? We have two coal power plant's, both were refurbished not long ago, both are the main employer's of two country town's, Collie and Muchea, the people of WA own them, and they will not be closing down for any political party,
So glad this station exists. Fair dinkum, I'd go bonkas if it wasn't around.
Since when has the ABC been balanced?????
I heard Albo say that the Üllaru statement from the heart has been evolving for decades. Amazing, and yet he had no idea what was in it and seemed to be confused just how many pages there were. Unbelievable! ( Except I do believe it.). How has this second rate mind been allowed to be elevated to P.M?. We deserve someone far better than this at the helm, the ship is sinking fast with him there
Considering he has been at the forefront of it for decades
Was sculling a beer ever time in Albo' losing speech that he said that sentence, "Ullaru statement from the heart"....
🥴
Albanese, confused yes!! Now he's over in the USA with Biden - another confused woke individual. a very good pair together indeed.
ABC ? No!
Tingle said the ABC was obsessed with balance. Why do have a problem with that? Sky certainly wasn't obsessed with balance.
@turnerfamilyinozi it's so obvious that the abc has a political agenda and anything but balanced and its not a tit for tat it's about the abc nothing other than that.
@@darrenblack6240 What is the ABC's political agenda?
@turnerfamilyinozi you don't know?? If so bad luck I don't have time to educate you, guess you need to read alot more than u do.

If you have evidence please produce it.
Make the ABC subscription only.
that would be hilarious!
Shared to Facebook, this is worthy news that needs to get out there.
Tingle is revolting!! No wonder Sam didn't want her!!
It’s a real shame that the ABC in Australia, the BBC in Britain, and the CBC in Canada have all failed their audiences. All public broadcasters that don’t represent the people.
They were uniquely brilliant for many decades until the wokies got hold of them. But this wasn't an organic takeover. This was a planned infiltration.
Totally. The Communist Broadcasting Corporation is the worst.
Only too happy to receive your evidence of the ABC.
Operation Mockingbird
I bet that majority of them were not Australians at these protests.
Well said Keith!
Irrelevant, whining Queensland turd pitt, sponsored by the mining industry.
I had 2 screens on Saturday night, on one was the Skye coverage and on the other was the ABC. I didn't want to miss the look on their faces when the Yes vote kept going down. They were in complete denial. Could be a long wait now before I watch the ABC again, next federal election maybe.
I have never watched the ABC. They’re too much like the BBC and THEY are the most biased fake news people in the world.
They can't even share a wine bottle without 7 Police cars and 5 Ambulances showing up so what makes you think the tribes could handle One Voice?
If your ancestors colonised this country, THANK YOU! I love having a toilet to 💩 in, hot water to bathe in, electricity to keep me cool and warm, a house to keep me comfortable and safe, a car to get me where I want to go in comfort and in a short amount of time, for the brilliant idea of equality and the rule of law. ❤
Notice these other news outlets turn their comments off? Go figure
The “woke” are the most asleep
Well said!
I’m from Canada and I watch you, Sky News Australia, to get relevant news, not our CBC.
As a member of the brindle community I appreciate the mention.
Im Brindle as well, half Irish, half English, see we are Australians and be proud of who we are.
Yep, and we all have the same red stuff flowing through our veins.... ALL OF US ❤
Treaties are upheld by International Law!
We are one, under one flag.
Oops under two flags.
Someone should have the guts to stop this silly situation

you already have to pay a fee to drive on some beaches which have been giving back to the indigenous people from national parks and wildlife, and the price tripled overnight
Yeah, the country's already been divided, and it's not good for Australians, whether they're Aboriginal or not!
That's another argument the LNP and Independents should have given light to. At least One Nation tried to expose the rort.
The Rainbow Serpent was primed to strike Ski Fields, Public Beach Access, National Park Camp Grounds and Hiking Trail entrances.
Forget fishing, swimming, or enjoying other recreational watersports activities at your favourite beach, lake or waterway... if the Rainbow Serpent bans you entering an area or charges an extra tax upon your boating licence... you're either out, or it's a Pay To Play conjob 😡
55% of Australia has already fallen to the Native Title Act...
Albo has been on the grave train for the whole of his working life. He still doesn’t get it. You wasted $ 400 million that divided us for ever.
The AEC currently has the yes results at 39.28%. Only 6 other referenda performed worse.
84% of referenda got a higher result than this one.
Only 11 others lost in all states.
Blaming Dutton or misinformation or racism misses the lessons to be learned.
Get rid of the ABC

Agree with you on Bluey Gary. There's bugger all else on the ABC now apart from an agenda. Turned off Lefty Laura years ago. She's 'frothing' left!
The Yes campaign was utterly despicable.
Who would watch the ABC? Not me!

So are the "textbooks" that you want in schools; they don't teach history, they teach falsehoods.

Why do i have to pick sides ?
Treaty???? We are not at war with our Indigenous Australians! We want better outcomes. A safe place for the kids not to be abused. Stop violence against women. Greater education outcomes. Meaningful employment. We spend billions on this as we care about it. An inquest into where these monies are going and how to be more effective. All sides of politics have been unsuccessful. This model doesn't work. Let's get results and move forward with a new way and focus for the best of Indigenous Australians and all Australians. No race politics.
