This is a very interesting story, Simo Häyhä is the sniper who has the most kills, and his story is fascinating. The Russians called him White Death

You have no choice, as long as you are in a Finnish trail, Talvisota is next.
    Great reaction.

Two completely different personalities, though. The white death was a very methodical hunter, the ghost in the trenches was just mental.

Agreed and it fit perfectly. Those lyrics......
      You're in the sniper's sight
      The first kill tonight
      Time to die
      You're in the bullet's way
      The White Death's prey
      Say goodbye
Seriously, this should of been the theme for Sniper Elite. Make a game about this man or something. Such an awesome song.

This is a killer song, I absolutely love it!
It's about Häyhä who served as a sniper during the Winter War(Nov 39 to March1940) between Finland and the Soviet Union. During that it's estimated that he made over 500 kills. He got the nickname belaja-smert (white death) from the Russians. They were desperate to take him down, but he ended up killing most of the snipers they sent after him. All of his kills was made during about 100 days, an average of 5 a day!!!

There are some good historical videos of Simo Häyhä aka White death. He had over 500 comfirmed kills with a sniper without a scope. He also shot with machine gun so his total body count was even higher. Some historians has estimated that he got over 800 kills

The letter Ä is transcribed as AE. NOT an Ah- sound. Thus Pär is said as rhyming with 'stair' or 'pair' or 'there'.
Yo-han-sson Equal stress on all syllables. When saying the 'han' part the 'a'- sound as in the start of 'another', i.e a relatively short 'a'.

I will forever love Iron Maiden for starting the trend of historical power metal and Sabaton for carrying the torch so well.
I know I already asked you to check out Strike! by Whispered, but I was thinking about it from a lyricists point of view, and I think you would actually like the song "Sakura Omen" from them a lot more. It's a lot more poetic and uses a lot of metaphor. It's also a deeper story I think.
I'm not 100% sure on the story, but I think it's about a great warrior that put down the blade, faced great shame for it, something terrible that he could have prevented happened, and he went on a path of vengeance that ended in his melancholic resignation and death. Would be interesting to see what you think it's about.

I just searched and didn't see a reaction to 82nd All The Way? If you haven't done that one yet, please do. :) If you want some extra fun, do a double header reaction and watch Amaranthe's cover of the song after Sabaton's version. :)

Due to the fact that Finland is littered with lakes... it's also known as "the land of thousand lakes".
That gives "a crimson horizon painting thousand lakes red" a more specific meaning.

Wait for history. That will blow your mind. :) Sabaton music is used in some Paradox Strategy games (Europa Universalis IV and Hearts of Iron IV(2 DLCs of songs)) and if you play Sabaton tank in World of Tanks you get part of that tank title song (Primo Victoria, Steel Commanders).

Yeah I want this one in a game. This where I wish I had the resources to create videos of the scenes. Maybe I'll make a video explaining how I'd make this a video. It is clear in my head lol
