I measured the pocket part of the fold and the top part of the mug, It could approximately fit hot cocoa pouches with a dimension of 3.75 inches wide by 5 inches high (top of the mug) but it could fit higher pouches if you don't mind it sticking out. I am going to go check out the grocery store for pouches now 😀
