Listen to someone who makes money from the exact problem you’re solving.
I believe you’re missing the point. It’s to prevent the wrinkles when you’re a side sleeper or sleep on your face. It keeps the skin from folding over on itself therefore preventing further damage. I’ve tried to train myself to be a back sleeper to no avail and taping definitely helps.
It hard to just sleep on your back all night, I've tried it and I'm someone who is takes turns sleeping on all sides.
Try an orthapedic pillow that has little indentations for your head, I used to be a side/front sleeper and this pillow helped me to train myself to sleep on my back! (plus I don't have achey neck/back anymore, bonus!)
My solution was using the pillow below my knees instead of my head, so I cant go sideway, and my neck is on a better position
I am a side sleeper and rotate all night. And yes I wake up with squished face lol
Tap is not risk.. people put chemicals on the face..
Actually, I started to use it lately from time to time. It's really has a great result. I dont have deep wrinkles . You are totally right concerning the disadvantages. Actually, the only disadvantage thing I faced is while removing them the first time I used it, I hurt myself because I was removing them, just the way that lady is removing the k-tape. Without using oil or water . And it caused me deep scratching on my cheek.
Now I make sure to spray/wash my face with water, and after they get wet then the process of removing them would be so easy and harmless.
It totally works. I genetically tend to have pronounce frown lines (aka eleven lines) and started taping while sleepping about 2 years ago and its night and day diference. Yes its true the lines are not completely gone but they are barely visible now. During the day, if In exposed to the sun a lot or if I cry, the lines become visible again. But a good 10 hrs of taping mix with good night sleep and they are gone the next day. Especially after taping for years the effect is more visible. There is not a single day I dont use it. Even uf I need a nap during the day i will not nap without the tape. I havent had ANY bad effects.
I have been taping my face since age 12. Yes age 12. My mom and I were professional dancers and she did this and taught me. This does work. I use a certain tape from the store for over 40 years now. Several rules to follow and it works.
Yes!! First I always use a moisturizer at night that is effective but not oily or greasy as the tape will slip off. The tape I use I get at Target or whoever has it. It is the very specific scotch tape brand that is labeled “gloss” and the color is red and yellow plaid packaging. It never sticks too hard and stays but is also easy to take off. I focus on my forehead, between the eyes, below the eyes and wherever a wrinkle wants to start. I am fortunate though and do not have mouth wrinkles. I hardly have any wrinkles really. A short while back I noticed some lines starting above my eyebrows so I started tape in those areas too. Here is the reason why it works and also how to help it:
Other than aging skin, we exacerbate wrinkles with our facial expressions. We also frown while we dream at night and the pillow pushes up skin around our lower eyes. We also frown in the sun. So wearing sunglasses all the time is a must, BUT you must train yourself not to squint even if wearing sunglasses. My mother taught me that young. Also if you can wrinkle your clothes and then iron them, the same is with your skin. Sleeping 8 hours a night with that wrinkle pressed out will help it, but you must watch unnecessary facial expressions during the day like frowning. And moisturize, moisturize along with a good diet and hydration and no smoking. And low to no alcohol. But you can keep those lines at bay because just as you wrinkle the skin with an expression or position in bed, you can undo it also or if very young, prevent them. My mom died at 78 and had not one line on her forehead. Tree of Life hydrating face cream and their Niacinimide serum underneath.
@@zoo9830first I’m sorry about your momma, may she rest in peace🙏🏼🙏🏼
But yes you are so spot on, I had this wrinkle under my mouth, not Marietta line( or whatever they are called) but it was horizontal to the right and left above chin, I seen this face taping thing and omg it absolutely worked, I figured that’s why I was getting them, the right side deeper cause I always slept on that side, but I don’t know if I caught in time but they are not there anymore, I do it every night, not with that specific tape, i buy the cloth white roll or the one that looks like a bandage or the ones on Amazon, plus I trained myself to sleep on back and I got that sleep and glow pillow lol, but you are so right it absolutely works, I just got into skincare mid 40s but this face taping is an absolute must!!
I'm 40, and have been face taping for 3 months. My main concern area was nasolabial area, which was caused by general aging and also because I am a side sleeper. Putting the tape on the area helps to immobilise it, so it cannot fold as deeply. It's just a minor thing that mechanically stops it from creasing, but hey every bit helps! (I still get botox and threadlifts, and generally I look late 20s)
Dont listen to her, taping makes wonders...she wouldnt recommend of course so that her injections could be used still and she could earn..you will see incredible results...
Well first of all the tape better not give you an allergic reaction 😂
When I take them off in the morning from my forehead, and try to make an expression, my forehead literally is flat and smooth and doesn’t move . It retrains the muscle
I am ...I am 40 and smile.lines already very much visible.. not enough money to go for fillers ..what to do ?
Other areas are ok..sagging on lower mouth and this smile.lines are the porbkem
I used go do this for a very very long time
That lady 52 looks freaking awesome
Been face taping for 60 years day and night never skipped tape day i have no skin left on my face and not a wrinkle in sight
No skin left on your face? Oh dear! I guess if you have no skin, you have no wrinkles 😊
It has to do with stretching and relaxing the mousles
It works for smaller, wrinkles, brother deep it more than likely is not going to show results
Oh come on. It’s all a temporary fix! Botox and filler’s? Temporary. Expensive moisturizers? Superficial. Plastic surgery? Also temporary and not an option for a lot of people. I haven’t tried it yet, but I would imagine it’s going to remove the dead surface skin not unlike retinol which overtime can really make the skin look much improved.
Surgical tape does the trick.
How long dies this lasts?
and also you can’t use any skincare products that actually improve your skin quality while using tape so you’re really missing out on benefits
that's exactly what i was thinking, i like the idea of it and i would try it out but i guess i'd still rather use skincare over some tape that might dry out/damage my skin even more... i'm not aware of any silicone pads or whatever that could stick over my serums and cream and allow me to side sleep, so basically putting glue over my wrinkles seems counterintuitive to me
I put the tape on after my skin care products have soaked in. No problem.
I've tried a few things but still have the number 11 between my eyes. It's ANNOYING!!!!!! I haven't tried face taping, but I think I will because those lines won't go away with massage and I can't afford botox.
Look into argeriline. The ordinary one is 10% you can get 30% by asterwoods. That combined with taping should help significantly.
This will help if you do it properly. You have to first massage this area and then put the tape . Find a video where it is explained how to do it correctly
What kind tape do yous
It does work!!!
From what I got from the video, due to it being temporary, that photographer should tell their clients to tape the night before but it'll only help for that day and it's not worth doing all the time.
Actually there is no risk 🎉
Omg I did that 30 years ago..
Very unlikely?
Sounds like it is possible, it could be possible and you are not sure! Definitely- would be because you know that you know!
Seems you don't!
Wanna try..
I will share this include in your facial routine and a collagen supplement to build collagen in your skin to promote elasticity as you use the facetape. The building of collagen al8ng with the face tape will work wonders hand In hand
Oh fudge! I guess I'll just buy over the counter retinol 😊
I am 52 and people thought I am only in my early 40s. I use kinesiology tape and retinol.
Once it’s gone- it’s gone!

Who wants medical advise on something like this.. if it works it works
Then you take it off...when you are going out?
I’ve been using a boob pillow for 25 years 67 years old and have no chest wrinkles at all. I got a little gobbler though.
You can put it in your face but you can't have it long cause it will cause line
Brownies anyone? 😊
Use a Band-Aid

If putting a tape on your face will get rid of wrinkles there wouldn't ’t be plastic surgeons...
Well if they confirmed it's working they would lose their jobs, so they would never say it works .
It works, but you need to keep using it permanently, or else the results will vanish 😃
@@jinanzeidan3271 so essentially it doesn't work just like makeup doesn't work. it's all temporary. therefore it's not a solution to anything.
@@criticism_is_not_hate
@criticism_is_not_hate I totally agree with you. That's why when stopping it, all the results will vanish.
As for me, I skip weeks ,that's why during my break time I notice the results are gone .
Maybe she doesn't see the lines because she is younger than a 60-year-old woman.... That is the fact!
Hate hate hate.... 😂

With all due respect I have been doing face taping for over a year now and the wrinkles I taped are gone.
I believe u, those doctors wanna to use their fillers on your face, and that is dangerous, not taping
Agreed!!
Do you do it every night?
@@lauras3871 yes, no matter how tired I am. Labial wrinkles gone, wrinkles between my eyebrows gone, under eye wrinkles positively reduced. Give it a try, if you are constant it works. Use the pink tape for delicate skin
Real? I have to give it a try
