Edit: I attempted this last weekend using the same technique you did. Fridged the grapes about 5 hours just to start out and then froze them for 3 hours after the sugar was set and my mom and bro LOVED them. Lol. Couldn't find the Barefoot brand of Prosecco at my Wal-Mart for it but the brand I bought was just as effective. FYI: cheapest bottle was almost $12 before tax 🤣
