These videos are great. Please do more. There's nothing like watching somebody play a machine and explaining the shots and why you should take them (or not).
Could you possibly feature Mystic or Silverball Mania from Bally? Harlem Globetrotters would be fun to watch also. All three were from 1979 or 1980 and all were by Bally. I loved those machines.
Alien Poker is a fun game, i wonder if they ever got the fan-ROM that adds multiball or the LTD clone (Space Poker) that has 2 flippers instead of 3 in the collection
for that drain out of the bumpers, when it's in the bumpers could you prepare for a cab slap in case it comes out that side? slap when it hits that little island to put it on the left flipper.
Technically, you can stage both lower right flippers the same way as you do in games like Whirlwind. This allows you to trap the ball on lower right flipper without issue, as long as you don't press the right flipper button too hard. The apron of the game even tells you that the right flipper is called "Dual action flipper". There's "Understanding Pinball" episode, which shows the feature in action.
I know I ask in vein, but I would love to see a Revenge From Mars tutorial. I recently restored one that the previous owner (damn jerk) has a 850 mil score that I can't seem to beat So there it sits, in my own Dojo and my initials aren't on it!. Granted, I clear coated the PF and the ball is a blur at times. I need help!
Million scoring: Williams "Space Shuttle" (1984) will blink GI lamps and pulse the bell to indicate your score reached over a million points and possibly repeat on every million (I need to confirm this). Million shot: Williams "Comet" (1984) will award 1,000,000 on one shot when you are on the last ball in play after activating 5X playfield scoring and activating the left lower loop switch. The game will say "A million" with the Million point shot flashers blinking. Score that by hitting the farthest hole on the bike jump and the game puts on a light show for about 30 seconds (time to celebrate!) and blink your millionth digit on your score. Million shot: Data East "Time Machine" (1988) after completing STARWARP, the game switches over to blink flashers under the million point ramp. If you succeed, you win 1,000,000 pts. That's all I remember for the pre-dot-display era.
Nice tutorial video. Alien Poker, my favourite pinball of all time.
Wanna play this game so much!!! The concept, art work, fonts and layout are just wonderful. Those bumpers...
Awesome work guys. The amount of effort that goes in to these is amazing.
And I like the shoes-optional approach to pinball, Bowen.

I can see why this game is so popular.
Great video , I would love to see a new WOZ walk through with the updated code. Thank you Papa TV!
Not the original spinner n they removed the wire gate behind double flippers n removed gate from plunger lane

Williams games like this and Firepower are very fast, perhaps a steeper angle of the table?
Thank You! Great review and tutorial!

easier said than done when it's flying at the flipper. More often than not, trying that technique ends in a scissor.
@@Shacklersrevenge1981 or you can try to find Space Poker a clone of the machine that only has 2 flippers
Great video. Can you guys do a Revenge From Mars?
Alien Poker vs. Laser Cue. Any change in strategy?
What about collecting the three aces to spell POKER? Worthwhile?

Black Knight 1980 tutorial please.
I love these pinball tutorials. My skills & overall play is better.
your skills and overall play is better than who?
Is the sound package from this game the exact same as Firepower II?
(minus voices)
Nightenstaff I was thinking the exact same!! Although it sounds more like the first Firepower to me.
I love Papa
Bowen rocks
