Nice work mate. Been watching all of your vids and loving it. So much better than Just a tutorial. You learn as you go, aren't afraid to call out mistakes, and explain how to fix things. Keep up the great work. I'm currently restoring a yfm250 & using your vids as help. Thanks (from Australia)
I have same issues 88 big bear 350 sparks one time then nothing recycl the switch same sparks once new cdi new on off switch new pulser coil new pick up coil new key switch was running then this occurred great videos
Rectifier? Hmmm. The wiring goes through the cdi for the ignition circuit. Rectifier wiring runs to the battery for the electrical system not the ignition system… I’m thinking through it but yes I did have an alternative rectifier that was put in (both tested fine on ohm meter and charge the battery). It didn’t help and as it wasn’t a part of the ignition system other than the ‘on/off’ switch I moved on from it. Tell me more though about your experience. You certainly have me curious.

Right back at ya :)
Hello
I have a Yamaha big bear, I have a question why would the head lights go dim when I use the throttle ?
Odd, is your battery bad or weak? Could have a failing stator coil for the power system,
Where did you get a cdi box I have a 1989 big bear 350cc I can't find a cdi
I had to go to EBay. Lots of them there for the big bear /moto4 units. Just make sure you get one with matching connectors. Good luck! :)
I need your help on my timberwolf wiring
I haven't worked directly on a Timberwolf but what's the challenge you're having?
Isany. One on here
grey ties into yellow
did you replace the rectifier along with stator thats the issue bro YOU MISSED IT

It turned out to be the a bad ground and key switch must be oem
@@davidpolmanteer5657 ah, yeah some of those aftermarket keys switches... I've had that happen. Congrats on getting it.
Thank you very much after I realized what the customer had done I also put a pulser coil into it
