    I have a ton of snaps. I am going to try this with a snap closure instead of a zipper. My zippers are dwindling down so I think that is what I will do. I hate zippers and when i have been sewing the areas with more bulk, my machine has trouble. I don’t have an industrial so I am thinking I may get one in the future. I am so glad you are doing this tutorial though! I love how you talk through it even mistakes! I make a lot!

    I've made this bag and lined it with waterproof canvas. I found the zipper pocket so much easier than the slip pocket. Keeping the pocket flat with the curve was not easy - I had to take it out once because it wrinkled at the top and was way too obvious. I've watched you do it several times and got mine in to look good. Thank you for doing tutorials on so many fun bags!

    I LOVE this bag. It would look so cute with a crazy quilted patchwork as the outside fabric. Time to raid the scrap bin! 😀

    Oh wow so exciting to have another video from you...great! Cool bag shape... I'm an interior zip pocketaholic too. You'll be missed next week .. enjoy your thanksgiving though! We here are on a sudden extreme lock down for 6 days... can't even go out to walk the dog! Here in South Australia though we had no new cases for months and it was feeling almost normal... but a sudden cluster started with the return of an overseas traveller who then passed it to a huge extended family of 17 and they want to crush it dead if possible. Sighhh..anyway stay safe and I like your curls too BTW.. Lindy x

    Beautiful bag. My first bag had a round bottom. Didn't know i should've started boxed or square. Either way I'm prepared for this one.

    Love this tutorial, I have this exact Mora Faux Leather, just a word of caution, it has a bit of stretch on the width, so when cutting make sure you don't cut the body piece on the width . Hope that makes sense lol. Love all your tutorials, so inspirational.

    What presser foot are you using? Needle size? Do you have industrial machine?

    • @SiahSwag
      @SiahSwag  3 роки тому

      It’s an industrial and I use a size 18 needle for most bags. It is a walking foot

    Why can't you use the zipper opening to turn the bag right side out?

    Hello, I am just starting to watch the vlog I want to purchase the pattern is it an affiliate link? Also is the zipper pocket part of the pattern i was a bit confused on what you said when you said an "add" on or something along those lines. Also...would you mind showing us how you did the zipper pocket since you mentioned several times it seemed to be a bit of a change for people.🤔 TY

    • @SiahSwag
      @SiahSwag  4 роки тому

      No this one is not an affiliate link for this pattern. When you buy this pattern there is an add on part for putting the zipper in.

    • @seamsuneven7824
      @seamsuneven7824 4 роки тому

      @@SiahSwag That's a bummer make it an affiliate link! Every bit counts! You did an amazing job on this vlog. Thanks for doing it!💜
