Leslie's Retreat & Salem Resistance

0n 26 February 1775, Lt. Col. Alexander Leslie led the 64th Regiment to Marblehead & Salem, Massachusetts to collect or destroy munitions of war reported to be stored in Salem. What heppend could have led to an outbreak of war, but Lt. Col. Leslie and the citizens of Salem reached an agreement which allowed for the 64th to fulfill the orders given to them.
