Emperor Hundred Head Sometimes these films are great just for the clothes, decor, cars, and ambiance. This one is such a sharp print, it’s like a time machine. Yep, that motor would take like £200 to fill. And the parts! lol But it’s drool worthy nonetheless.
@@NancyDrewe I love that expression" drool worthy" very apt although you failed to mention the bodies the clothes are draped in. I find some of these drool worthy as well. Sorry, I just noted your moniker. No wonder you failed to mention the bodies as I did or am I being politically incorrect.
Kane Richmond was so damn fine! And I would love to know where they filmed that car chase scene. Wonder what that neighborhood looks like today with houses on those empty lots.
The reason some of this 1930 acting wasn't so great is because sound film wasn't that old. 1927 the first sound movie came out. This film is from 1937. Some of these actors are beginners.
Looked like 38 Revolver "double action" 6-7" barrel. Round went through top of the closed trunk lid, and the backs of both the rear and front seats, striking the target in right posterior of torso/ ribcage. What's so hard to believe about that? Where'd you get stomach from?
I like early movies. Very quaint. If there was anything "racy" in these films, I would not catch it right away. Today though, EVERYOTHER word is filthy , suggestive language and nudity.
Zorro Alphonso guess you've never watched Witness for the Prosecution, the African Queen, Gone with the Wind or countless others. Humphrey Bogart and SO many other truly GREAT actors and actresses, that could and did play SO MANY different characters and make the audience believe that they were that person!
@Cyber Zorro Zorro. I have never even bought ANY kind of 'hollywood' magazine much less thought about joining some idiot fan club but I fully agree that Hollywood brought out and did publicize actors and actresses and STILL DO but none can come even close to those from the 30's through the 50's. Hence the term. The Golden Years of Hollywood!!! The singer's could SING and the dancers could DANCE. And they sang without a soundboard with a gazillion switches that could make a pig squeal sound like great opera and dance, fully clothed without ANY bumps and grinds!! Even the "great" female singers of today are on stage as close to nude as possible and when they dance it's more bumps and grinds than actual dancing. I guess that they think nudity hides a lack of singing talent! And I dare ANY of the singer's today to sing through an old time Mic and an old speaker/amplifier that's about 24X24 inches! EVERY ONE WOULD REFUSE because even their biggest fans would boo them off of the stage. Opinions are like ass holes. Everybody has one and that's mine and I'm sure that those who disagree WILL be ranting and raving, even wanting me dead but I still wish those people only the best that life has to offer! In these days even Zorro needs to be safe! So I sincerely hope that you are doing everything possible to remain safe!!!
I was never bored for a moment! A delightful, madcap romp! PizzaFlix scores again!
Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX. May the Sauce be with you!
Remarkably well done for a "poverty row" studio. Plenty suspense, action, with dashes of comedy 👍
Frankie Darro can be described in two words~ unbound exuberance!
or one word : overacting
He gets top-billing. For the life of me, I don't recognize any of the other names.
a simple and straight forward story.
Great show. I want to see more.
The early days of cinema, quaint and often wholesome.
Music is intense at times, Frankie Darrow is real squirrel lots of energy.🤡👊🥊🤼
A fine clear print, always the best way to 👀 these good stories acted out😀
Delightful film Give it a whirl. May, 1923.
1937 !
Thanks Pizzaflix. Great fun!
Thank you!
Thank you
This is a great movie thanks for posting.
Even though there are plenty of holes in the story and acting this is a pretty good movie.
A VERY fun film! Great sauce @PizzaFlix!
awesome little caper 8/10
That Kane Richmond is one handsome guy!
Good movie: Plenty of fightin' and plenty of lovin'.
Fun and slightly wacky. Glad I checked this one out. Another good one, PF. :)
For some reason Kane Richmond reminds me of the actor Guy Madison. 😊😊😊😊😊😊
I was thinking : James Madison
11.23. The Lady Vanishes.
Quite a good light hearted movie. Thanks for sharing.
".Hmmmm.......WISE.GUY, "
Frankie Darrow and his little feet: the future Robbie the Robot in Forbidden Planet.
Oh what I would give to have one of those vintage open tourers with the ten-foot long bonnets, but just think about the petrol they drank.!!!!

Awesome 👌
Good movie
Loved it x
Oh pizzaflix. Why are you so good to me?❤️
Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX. May the Sauce be with you.
Pretty good film, Thanks

Good one 😉
During that car chase scene they must be the only two automobiles in the city.
I couldn't help but notice that took place in an area just being built, sparsely populated. I'd like to see the location today.
A really rambunctious comedy thriller, plus chase movie (x10!), sex comedy, and bright knowing dialogue twixt girls and boys. Superb!
Agreed. Though Editing/Cutting adds pleasing unintentional humour.
what size tires on those cars..28in or somethin? huge..
somethin
Enjoyable and very silly. Even the crooks were nice.
Cute movie
... a little slapstick anyone?
Rosita Butler had charisma, too bad she just made a few movies.
@14:17 too bad rck focus had not been invented yet, but even blurry that's guy's smirk is classic.

Bullets that seek out their victim . how did the guy in the car get shot?
Question ; How did he manage to shoot him in the stomach, AFTER he had driven well past him ??? A boomerang bullet???

Yvonne is so dense
Yeah but she got her own back on the little person and she knew it. I don't call that dense. and she got her man.
Bit too much ham and cheese for me.
Add some mayo, wash it down with a liter
of Leinenkugel
Well, I am trying to come up with a better synonym for "bad", but I guess the original will have to do.
38:15 lol
Funny like the three stooges 😀
Evon just about annoys the life out of me. I think she’s pushy and silly 😝.
They are all like that until they lose the
virginity
Comedy thriller???
What am absolutely horrible story line. Terrible.
They even had rubbish films way back in 1937
50 minutes of silly fighting scenes with a 10 minute silly plot about a diamond dispersed around them. Not impressed.
1940's acting was not that good. The best actors and actresses were from the 50's and 60's.

60's were not so great, 40's and 50's were the best, Bogart is probably THE VERY BEST.
@@Kidraver555 Mr Cagney was ok as well. Humphrey could not dance as well as James. and yes my tongue is in my cheek.

He says that it’s very colorful. It’s too bad that the film 🎞️ isn’t in color so we can’t see how pretty 😍 it is. 🥹🥹🥹🥹
